The slots are now closed. To those who I am waiting for e-mail address to send to, get them to me and I'll send the XAP along. I will focus on the the feedback I've received in order to find a way to troubleshoot for others.

In terms of feedback and issues, send them over my way if you haven't already and I will compile a list of issues that are common between devices/unlocks and come up with something.

Thanks for all who have helped! I will do everything I can to make this a kick ass app for everyone.

It's a bug unfortunately (sigh). While you're on the main screen, click on the bottom ApplicationBar and click logout then login again. It may or may not fix that issue in the interim. I'm currently working on fixing that issue for the final beta.

App quits after starting

Hey there,

My app still quits on me after starting. I enter my username and pass, it logs in and while loading library, quits out.

I thought you were going to send me a xap with error reporting. Or the next build of the app...

P.s I am having dreamspark student unlock. And stock ROM without any modifications except installing HTC interop unlock xap (failed try on my HTC Titan). Have already uninstalled the interop unlock app.

I tried logging out then back in. I'm now showing 3 copies of some songs.

Thanks for replying. I thought that the app keeps quitting because I tried to interop unlock my titan. So I even hard reset my phone (it was a tragedy, because I didn't had backup).

Even then the app just quits after logging in while loading something.

Looking forward to the new build that you are talking about.

It will be sent automatically. I've been actually testing out what will be the new build and working hard. It's been rough this past week to devote my entire time to it due to christmas, but I think I will have a nice New Years gift to the beta testers .

UI changes would definitely make it better to look at . I have a guy working on some graphics for me so hopefully I can get those and revamp the UI. As of now, I've done some super thorough testing with the functionality and I'm trying to get all of these ugly bugs out before I release the next XAP. It is looking pretty good though! Sorry for the long wait, but trust me it will be worth it.

Good job, i love google music and love to use it on the htc radar cause of its superb sound quality. But there are some major issues wich prevent me to use it regularly:

i know there is a limit of 1000 songs, but why are they chosen randomly? i have more than 4000, but would like to choose which artists are visible in the app. Like it is now, you can't be sure to have access to your favourite artists.

good to read graphics will be improved. but right now, layout is wasting a lot of space, especially on top and on bottom of the screen.

when i connect to google music the first time i have to hit play on a couple of songs before i can hear anything. later on everything works flawlessly.

i'm really looking forward for final release. when next beta is available i'll publish an article and i will try to record pc screen to show the app in running in an emulator.

Yeah those are a few issues ive been working out in terms of initial playback and such. As for the random assortment of songs, that's due to the way google stores the data on the music. I've only limited the music for the sake pf beta testing. The full paid release (which i will only make 99cents) will feature all songs, support for playlists, and song caching. I will also release a free version with limited functionality. With that sad, i am working hard to make this a great experience. I actually used the app in my car on the way home with the new build i am almost finished with and the playback was smooth. =).

Next beta will appear within the next few days (That's the good news! :-D). This will be the LAST beta before I work on pushing to the Marketplace and it will be limited to a few more slots including those who are currently in it. I'm still waiting for some graphics, but I have made a good bit of progress! Hold tight! Sorry for making you all wait. If only I didn't have a 40 hour work week lol
