Hey man, great work!

Since you know your way around CM Camera, would it be a problem to enable full speed 1080p video recording with 60fps and sound?

I don't know why OnePlus didn't enable it, it doesn't seem like a big problem.
Right now it isnt possible since CM decided to make the java code as obscure as possible. If they ever decide to release the source code, I would definitely look into it.

No. Litterally downloaded again before I answered earlier. Still will not install.
That's odd, can you install the original camera?

Can we used this apk on Xperia Z1 Compact?
Try to install it, if it doesn't install then it won't work

Great mod! Using it on my Nexus 5 with CM12...But the speeds are really 1/32 of a second, 1/16 of a second, etc, not 32 seconds, 16 seconds, etc, right?
No, the camera actually captures light for however many seconds the option is. So if it was set to 32, it would capture light for 32 seconds and then processes the image.

Just installed the original perfectly fine. Then tried to install yours. See screenies attached.
I have no idea what is causing this. That specific message came up because you have the original camera installed, so if you uninstall that and install mine, it should work. What ROM are you on?

so you have to hold the camera still for 32 seconds??
it must not be actually working on my device then, because the 32 second option is taking a photo in a fraction of a second..

I really don't know what happened there. How strange is that?

Thanks for your help. Gonna test this 32second thing :) :good:

Have a read about apk signing and you'll understand. That's how it's supposed to be. ;)

This makes the phone sorta feel like a DSLR, lol. Edited out the previous question because you answered it before I sent this message :p

btw. is it only meant for AOSP based roms/OPO? I'm asking out of pure laziness, don't bother replying if you don't feel you'd like to. :p

PS. Congrats for making it on the xda portal news page! :)

That's actually a really good question. It sort of puzzles me because that would give you that feel of a DSLR, lol.

Thanks! Im not sure whether it would work on other phones because its based on CM's framework, but it couldnt hurt to give it a shot;)

After setting the slow shutter speed to 32 second. and then taking a pic, the pic is taken fast and slow shutter speed goes back to auto automatically. No such problem while setting to 16 sec

Hei @abhi08638 thank you for your great work, Cyanogen didn't update the Camera app from October! I want to ask you if you could correct a very annoing "bug" (i don't if it's a bug or it's a cpu problem): when i select "raw" option from the menu and i set long exposure (2-4-8 seconds), the official app crashes and a reboot is needed, so we can't take nocturne photos in raw. There were a lot of Jira's reports about this bug, but nothing has changed from October. Do you think it's possible to resolve this problem in the future? Anyway thank you, i was really waiting an upgrade of the Cyanogen Camera, go on!

Is disabling the camera the same as uninstalling it? How do I uninstall since there is no option to uninstall?
Nevermind, I used Titanium backup
