What modes will it take 16:9 in? All my pictures so far have come out 4:3. The only way for me to produce 16:9 is changing it under resolution.Check the aspect ratio. It does take 16:9 shots, just not in the new mode.

Well, the default resolution is 4:3, but it can be changed to 16:9, thus the claim by the reviewer that it is impossible to take a 16:9 shot and that there's no way to change it in the settings isn't accurate. All cameras lose resolution when changing aspect ratio, from what I've observed over various devices I've owned. My Note 3 does the same thing. It's a 13MP sensor, but shoots 16:9 by default, which gives you fewer MP in resolution. What modes will it take 16:9 in? All my pictures so far have come out 4:3. +1....It is not in my list either. Have you been able to figure this out yet?I am running it now, on a Oppo Find 7a with the latest CM nightly on it and it runs very fine, just like the previous version ..... BUT ...
I can not find the "clear image" mode in my list ....Between which modes is it ? I have 29 modes (auto,HDR,Smart scene etc ..
(and the stock camera app on the Oppo can do those High res pictures. )
How many modes do you have ?
Thanks, Sparcky
I just installed it, and then replaced the original camera app located in the system app directory. Requires root, but I think it's sticking now.+1....It is not in my list either. Have you been able to figure this out yet?
Can you please explain exactly what you do and what file you use cause I have a oppo find 7 but I can't make it work. Thanks in advance..I just installed it, and then replaced the original camera app located in the system app directory. Requires root, but I think it's sticking now.
Yep, it works.

So that is how you got the 'clear image' option to show up?I just installed it, and then replaced the original camera app located in the system app directory. Requires root, but I think it's sticking now.
Yep, it works.
That's how I made the app have the Clear Image function after initial install and open. Because otherwise when you open your app drawer and select camera, it opens whatever camera is installed in your system directory. By replacing whatever camera you have in your system directory you force it to use the apk with Clear Image. So that is how you got the 'clear image' option to show up?
Sorry for delayed response, didn't see that you responded.Yes.. Rooted with the latest nightly CyanogenMod

Just check. Side load it. And yes there is an option "clear image" but... You get the same quality picture just like auto.. And I check it in low light situation. Where clear image give clear noise free images. So you get the option but not the result. Pity..This fixed camera version. It showing Clear Image on all phones.
The APK in first post work, but not have the Clear Image options. This fixed camera version. It showing Clear Image on all phones.
has anyone else this problem ?I passed the application and has the option of "cleare image", but when erase the phone and open it again this choice has disappeared and I have to install the application again to reappear. Why is this happening?
I have latest slimmest weekly rom
