CrisRowlands SimplePiano

Ive wanted a piano app for my Rhodium (TouchPro2) for quite a while now, but everything I find either crashes instantly or is really lame.
I used to use Omniano on my HTC Touch, but havent found any working links to later builds that support WVGA.

Ultimately I got bored & decided to make my own. I didnt want anything too complex, just a piano and thats what Ive made :)

Features:
WVGA & VGA versions.
It has three octaves.

Future changes:
Will make other resolutions on request.
Supply cabs for adding new instruments to the app.
Multitouch (Looking slightly less likely as time goes on)

CHANGELOG:
02.05.10
Fixed the problem where it wasn't animating key presses
Slight change to Settings page.
Added startup page.
29.04.10:
Added VGA resolution
28.04.10:
Added full skinning support.
It now gives an message instead of crashing when it cant find sounds.
Added support for other instruments.
(New instruments will come as a cab for each instrument when I get the files, like an addon)
Added a settings page to switch between instruments.
(The settings page will have more on it over time)
Rotation message added.
27.04.10:
Fixed issues with the app not finding files & gremlins hacking my app :p
25.04.10:
Now added skinning support

Other Notes:
I hope you folks like it :)
Feedback is appreciated, improvements can only happen if I know what you folks want.
Sorry the cabs quite big & it takes a while to install - its all the sound files.

Skinning:
A NEW THREAD HAS BEEN MADE FOR SKINS HERE

Other instruments:
None yet (Will add instruments here over time)

Well done. I had a look at the video. Cool! :D

How about multi-touch? Would be great to play a chord...I think C will fit:)

Keep up the good work. I will follow closely this thread and any updates of the application.

Great one, but too bad I've got an Hermes. If you should make it skinnable I'll make a skin for it, though.

Keep it up :)!

very cool. Have to agree that multi touch would be awesome. also it would be cool if you could drag your finger across the keys and they would respond (not sire if that is considered multi touch)

ApptoDate Support

Pretty nifty app you got here. A suggestion if you plan on putting out a lot of updates would be to add Apptodate support. Just a thought.
Definitely looking forward to multitouch support for my HD2 :)

Yeah, sorry thats the error message I put in.
Did you install it to the storage card or main memory?
also, did you move the app at all or change the name of any folders?

Maybe this will allow you to support multitouch mode

Dual Touch sdk

Im currently looking into this, it would allow 2 notes on normal screens but I dunno about the HD2 :(
