*the program itself is owned by Google. I didnt write anything for this app. All i did was theme the icons*

** UPDATED apk for Google Maps update released 11/29/11 (ver 6.0.0)**​

Just install like any other apk. Enjoy.

Two things you will need to know:

-If you have a copy of Google Maps installed on your phone, you must uninstall it before installing any modified Google Maps provide here.
-this will not update from the market. But I will try to keep it up to date as Google updates it.

Work that bengals1975 has provided on this tread. If you like his work. Please go and thank him from his post. It was all his idea. I just wanted to see if i can do it to.

yes. you will need to remove any google maps you installed to make this work.

Added the helicopter one but I'm not to happy on how it looks. I will find a better png. Plus I'm still looking for a boat. I think that would be funny. Of anyone has some good imgs they would like me to try. Please post them.

I think keeping it all in this thread would be pretty cool. Keep the updates all in one post, kinda like the lockrings neo has built. So with that said, I've attached the apk to this post

made another one for the x-wing. My guess is it looks better in "daytime" mode. the nighttime color scheme of navigation doesn't contrast with it too well.

EDIT: added a daytime screenshot and I gotta be honest, I don't think I like the X-Wing as much as some of the others for my chevron. I hope I'm being my own worst critic

BTW, Does anybody have or seen a picture for a top view of a GMC Sierra pickup truck by chance (or something similar)? It's what I drive and I'd think I'd like to make one with that and I really don't want to climb on top of my garage to take a picture
