Now this may sound strange but:

I installed this app through TWRP Recovery on my Xiaomi Mi4c (5.12.24), it is rooted and has busy box installed. After reboot I installed SeLinux Changer and changed it to Permissive mode. I can see Dolby app on my home screen, I can enable it too, but it is somehow reversed - sound is better while app is off (no sound visualisation), also I see no difference between music, voice, movie etc and Demo has no sound too. What have I done wrong?

Also how do I uninstall this app?

Reinstall System to remove it or try to set EQ manually

Is there any way to uninstall it from CM13 without wipes?
I've installed and later saw information about SeLinux to permissive which is impossible on CM13 :/

sound quality is superb when you are ON the app, if it is pushed in the background the effect becomes less tense. also, i set manually the equalizer but it keeps changing depending on the song and the app often refuses to start. anyway i will probably keep it because of the excellent quality but the app needs work...

Hi to everybody. If you've experienced some issues on Cm13 here you are what I do to solve them (I am not very keen on Linux, but it works :) ).

1. I've did not found any way to uninstall the mod without flashing again the rom, so you can do that if you want and than also install Dolby Atmos 6.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/mod-dolby-atmos-t3109446). In Cm12.1 it works better in my opinion. Next week I'll change the phone so I am not planning to test it on Cm13, I will continue using this mod.

2. The mod does not work on CM13 because you cannot set selinux as permissive on every boot. So...
3. Install Init.d support on Play Store. You can check if Selinux Permissive is on by the same app or simply on Android Settings.
4. Using Root Browser or any other editor go to folder: /etc/init.d
5. Using the same editor create a new text file named 08setperm
6. Write on it:

#!/system/sh
setenforce 0

7. save, set permission to 777 and reboot (maybe it is better to reflash the mod and wipe davilk)

Now Selinux is permissive and the mod has to work. I've tried it succesfully. :)

Hi, I just updated my phone from china dev 6.2.x (with bootloader unlocked) to 6.5.5 (and I unlocked the bootloader with the miflash unlock tool), I followed the instructions as I did 2 months ago but I'm stuck on mi logo and my phone can't be recognized by the computer even in fastboot mode, can you help me?

Thank you!

Have you managed to solve that issue in other ways?
Not using the mod solved the issue with the mod completely :)

As far as the latent background static, in short, no.
I've seen people confirm it and people shrug it off, it seems to be more prevalent on certain audio devices (mostly in-ears probably). Apparently not many people listen with the volume on minimum, while to me that's plenty loud.

Far as I remember, I concluded this is probably a minor design flaw. Hardware issue, in other words.

Unfortunate but minor.

So CM13 doesn't solve the issue as I read somewhere?
