Hello XDA Friends,

What I got here is a working DSP Manager for 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Its a flashable zip that will add the correct files in system folder for the app to work

Note:This Zip Will Delete MusicFX.apk And Replaces It With DSPManager.apk

Confirmed and tested working:
CM 10.2
Slimbean 4.3
ParanoidAndroid
Stock Roms
Nexus 4
Galaxy Nexus
Nexus 7
Nexus 7 (2013)
Galaxy S4
Galaxy S3
Galaxy S2
It should also work for other 4.3 Roms

Instructions:
1. Download Attached File http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2173281&stc=1&d=1375933426
2. Copy Into Your Phones SdCard
3. Reboot/Boot Into Recovery (CWM/TWRP)
4. Flash DSP.zip
5. Wipe Cache, Davik Cache and Fix Permission
6. Reboot

Changelog:
Updated Libs to latest CM Source
DSP Manager v2.0
Universal Flash

All credits and thanks goes to the Cyanogenmod Team for creating this wonderful app!!

Which app do you try with dsp? I tried NeutronMP but it seems not working

You can try Google Music, basically any music app that uses Android's standard audio framework. For example, PlayerPro will not work as it has its own framework and DSP.

I installed this, wiped caches and fixed permissions. However, when I boot up the phone and go into sound settings, I do not see the option to change the equalizer to DSP Manager. I know this option is there with CM10.1. Am I missing something?

Also, I should mention I'm on Stock de-odexed.

EDIT: Never mind. Reading comprehension > me.

Hello XDA Friends...

I can't find the DSP Manager App. I changed it in sound settings. But where can I access the actual DSP settings?
Did I miss something?

Try rebooting again. The DSP app should be in your app drawer.

Rebooted several times. Flashed several times, wiped caches, fixed permissions. The whole package but nothing...

What rom are you usinng? this will only work for 4.3.
Does your launcher got an option to hide apps in app drawer?
Go to Settings>Apps>All
Is it showing there? If it is click on DSP Manager and unisntall updates
Me and my friend have tried this multiple times on Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4 and Galaxy S4 GE and it works.

I'm on Sinless 3.1 (4.3). Nova does have an option to display all apps but DSP still doesn't appear. In the attached screenshot you can see the "All" app list. No DSP either. But I can select it in sound settings.

On 4.2.2 I had a working DSP manager. I dirty flashed to 4.3. Everything else is working properly. But the 4.2.2 DSP manager came with some additional libraries. Maybe the remains are interfering with the 4.3 version.
On the other hand.... I always had to reflash DSP after ROM upgrades.

Works great with deodexed stock 4.3. Missed the DSP when switching from 4.2.2., thanks!

This has been a past issue when it comes to HTC.
Your Rom must be a pure Vanilla AOSP.
Lib files in system>libs>soundfx folder has to be deleted. You can disable or unistall the other sound fx you got in your rom.

Check this out : http://android.appstorm.net/how-to/music/install-and-configure-dsp-manager-on-any-rom/

And if you want to revert back you can simply dirty flash your rom.

ok thanks but where is locates build.prop.

I found one in the system folder and look for the lines that you commented me, but not found it, I I add the lines, or I'm wrong of build.prop.

thanks for your help and forgives the inconvenience.

Yes the one in system folder.. They should be there, I have an s3 and that's how I was able to get DSP manager to work on 4.3 touchwiz.. Try looking more closely and if still can't find them try adding them manually, maybe it will work
