When song playing in Spotify and after that playing song on youtube the DynamicSpot is not hiding and showing same Spotify song info but when i play song in Youtube and after playing song in Spotify the DynamicSpot is working fine

its recommended to end music playback on one app before starting a new one. otherwise the app may get confused on what musicstream to pick.

is there a way to fully cover the edges of the extended popup.
In S23 Ultra Eckverrundung does not come down to lower than 10%, so I can not set it up.

About the newer feature "hide pill when notification shade is open", after i close the notification shade the popup shouldn't return since i already saw the notification.

Maybe the timer for the popup should still count after opening the notification shade, or the popup should dissapear after closing it so it doesnt come back.

I dont know if i made me understand.

Hi there,

with the release of iPhone 14 Pro Apple introduced Dynamic Island.

As i already created a notification light app for Samsung or Pixel phones (aodNotify) i tried to port the app to something like Dynamic Island.

In android we have no camera islands, but camera spots / cutouts. So that's when dynamicSpot was born


With dynamicSpot you can easily get the iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island feature on your device! dynamicSpot gives you Dynamic Island's mini multitasking feature, making it easier to access recent notifications or phone events.

Just tap on the little black popup to open the displayed app, long press the popup to expand it and view more details.

iPhone's Dynamic Island is not customizable, but dynamicSpot is! You can change interaction settings, select when to show or hide the popup or which apps should appear.

As dynamicSpot uses Android's notification system it is compatible with almost all apps, like messaging notification, timer apps and even music apps!
So if you e.g. start a timer, dynamicSpot will show you the running time.


The app is in a public beta currently and will be further optimized. Animations may not be super smooth and not all apps be compatible currently.
But im working on it

I have few feature requests on the app.



1. Dobule click on live activites, pop ups with restart and shutdown and sleep button, also an SOS to be people opinions to show or not.

2. cyan and very dark cyan progress circle bar on a small popup so you don't need to expand to see how much is left.

3. new system events, when putting phone on slient it should do it like how iphone does, or when putting it to vibrate it should do it like iphone but dynamic island also moves left right fast like its vibrating for 1 second.

4. please please support 120hz ._. i saw my phone in slow motion, and dynamic spot seems to be lower frame rate than my screen refresh rate, it will get way smoother for me if it had 120hz support.

5. dark mode for the app, im still ok with light mode, add dark mode if you want to. it helps the eyes

6. permium animations was not what i was expected but still better than standard

ohhhhh, so it was not only my problem on the app, i always restarted my phone everytime it wasn't working, i didn't even reliase that was the problem of screenshot

I have recently purchased the pro version of the app as I absolutely adored the free version. However I have found a bug which was a bit annoying. I had set the spot to notch mode and turned on premium animations however when closing the large popup the animation doesn't seem to exist and it quickly flickers back to the smaller popups. Could you possibly fix this?

no issues on samsung, don't forget to tell him what is your phone. is your phone animations off? if not, thats a bug tell him what phone you have they probably can fix it.

My nyx music player is not showing in the dynamic island....I am using latest 1.57 version...but before this update nyx music player was showing on the island. Please fix this issue.

Working ormally hwre with nyx. Did you select nyx in dynamicSpot?
