My phone refresh rate randomly changes to 60hz from 120hz, and when i force stop Dynamic Spot my issue is fixed, this happens probably every 2 day or sometimes everyday, what is causing this?

Hello, I don't think I've explained the situation properly.

For example on WhatsApp:
- if the screen is on and I'm in an app then autoexpension OK
- If the screen is off then the screen turns on and autoexpansion OK

With Google Messages:
- If the SMS is from an iPhone and the screen is on and I am in an application then autoexpension OK
- If I send myself an SMS if the screen is on and I am in an application then autoexpension OK
- If the screen is off then the screen turns on but autoexpension NO

I have only had it work once and that was after a reboot but I don't know why.
I would like the screen to turn on as before (which it does) and autoexpension to work with SMS

I would like to ask, if possible, to add the option to include the clock inside the pill. I have a Oneplus Nord with the PE rom and the pill interferes with the clock, many times I listen to music and the clock is completely covered which is a bit uncomfortable.

Another inconvenience I have is that I can't get the timer to work on the pill, I don't know if it's because of the modified version of android but I can't see it.

That would be for my part, nice work!

You need to install other rom, with feature to move clock to the center, or install some module if you have root, aosp mods can hide app notification icons and move clock

but if we don't want to root its possible to put the clock inside the dynamic island for left front camera users, the camera will be covered and another clock by the app on the dynamic island.

And its possible to move the clock without root, just a third-party clock next to dynamic island by the app, clock itself is covered.. the problem is notification will not move.

Its not possible to move them (only hide) without root in a12-13, anyway i don't find how to do it, i have left side camera hole to, and without root and aosp mods module, dynamicspot is not usable, because its stupid when system show you app icons in status bar and spot show you them to, oneui and miui have option to hide this icons, but other roms don't

I use energy Ring Universal edition, and before today i have no problem with this two app, dynamic spot was always on the energy Ring and all was fine.
But now dynamic spot was behind energy Ring and every notification have energy Ring on it....
Looking si ugly now.....

please try restarting phone once

you can try to stop and start dynamicSpot again. Then dynamicSpot should be on top

Thanks for your work, using both dynamic island & popup control pro on pixel 7p.
Certain apps, such as Gmail for example, throws up the same notification multiple times if it hasn't been cleared off.
If a new notification arrives (say a new email), many a times the older notifications trigger again.
Can get annoying. Is there any way to control the number of times a specific notification appears?
(This is just not for Gmail, but it's most noticeable due to the number of emails)

oh i see! l, so there's an animated pet on a dynamic island that's moving right? , besides that feature, the dynamic island feature should also be added to stay in place but has no function (so when pressed nothing happens) do you understand what the feature I want means?

i like the first one but if second one happens i will not update this app or it should be an opinion. did you mean that expanded should not be expanded from the small popup and it should be below the front camera?

@Jawomo can you add an option to make the border colors more dark/transparent (perhaps as a slider in appearance)?

Some apps have bright icons and it might look bad when it colors the border too brightly. Apple's dynamic island has the border colors more subtle too.

Furthermore, adding the possibility to manually adjust how thick the border is would be amazing too, thanks

Gradient was already present in a previous beta, but it was removed due to incompatibility on some devices.

Hard to find a solution for 10.000 different devices... have to make compromises

different corner radius is not possible currently due to android framework limitations
