✓ Energy Ring can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
✓ Energy Ring can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level

All that is cool! But what about Energy Ring consuming Battery?!

This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Ring more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? ;) .) Energy Ring sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring. Once awake, Energy Ring quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Ring goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.

Accessibility Service Requirement:
Android requires Energy Ring to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.

Hello, I have been using the app for a few hours and I noticied that there is something that is not working correctly. I choosed the option to not show when full screen app, but it stills shows the ring.
Also, would be nice to have the option to modify the initial settings.

Worked perfectly in my S10 but not on my S21 Ultra... Installed, restarted and noting, nothing appears when you go in setting ...sad because this was a nice app.

Hello, it doesn't work for the S21 ultra Exynos (SM-998B) on Android 12. When enabling the accessibility service, I got an instant notification that the device isn't supported.
Is this related to the model number not being supported, or just Android 12?
Thanks !

^ just toggle off batt percentage in device care>battery>more battery settings. what i did too :)
I still can't enable the app accessibility service...
As soon as I click "Allow" in the accessibility settings, the app pops up and says "unsupported device". And the accessibility button reverts to "off".

I don't have any other app that could mess with the battery settings or something else.

Should I try to elevate some permissions trough ADB ?

Like adb -d shell pm grant com.franco.doze android.permission.BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE

Thanks for the help !

It gets weirder...

I forced accessibility service access by using the following commands:

adb shell am kill you.in.spark.energy.ring.gen
adb shell appops set you.in.spark.energy.ring.gen BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE allow
adb shell settings put secure enabled_accessibility_services you.in.spark.energy.ring.gen

Now, in accessibility, *sometimes* it did show that it was enabled for Energy Ring, but the app kept asking for it...

Thanks for the help :)

Update: Fixed the issue of System turning off Accessibility Service of Energy Ring frequently, it was a Android System Level bug, a workaround has been deployed successfully, let me know if Energy Ring is stable again for you! :)

P.S. I am flooded with emails and messages, apologies if I couldn't reply all!

ah yes. sorry. was previously using just the batt percentage without the icon 🤭. you can use the goodluck module quickstar for that. if you're rooted though, there's probably a magisk
