i guess the kernel has to support 1.6GHz in order for ezoverclock to work. does it?
Yea stock kernel should support it. At least it did with ics. That was the great thing about this app. All you needed was root. I'm sure if the op wanted to update this to work with the new jb, it wouldn't take too much. Pure speculation though. Maybe if the op doesn't then someone else will.

They are overclocking the tf300 kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901784 which a lot of folks ran on the tf201 for a while with wookies hairy bean 1.2, so possible it most assuredly is, useful? that remains to be seen jb roms are naturally way faster than ics roms anyway.

Yea so far I haven't a real need to oc with jb. Nor did I really on ICS. I do like options however. Thanks for the link. Looks like something like that could easily come our way.

Asus took out the 1.5 and 1.6ghz steps on the JB stock kernel so this will no longer work.

how do you know this?
Download cpuspy from the play store. Its very easy to see that Asus has taken out the 1.5ghz and 1.6ghz steps. Previously on the ICS kernel they were there. Now they aren't. So therefore there will never be a software solution to overclock on stock JB. You'll have to flash a different kernel.

Think there is something more to it also as I have been working on and with quite a number of kernel's that have the steps back in and still OC does not work.

Doesn't work on Androwook ROM. All I get is a blank screen then the app crashes.

Update: 0915am It asks for SUperuser permission, freezes tablet then reboots tablet. Uninstalling for now.

Ehm did you read the last postings? Overclocking isn't possible with actual androwook ...
So no reason to complain about freezes and stuff ... ;)

Automatic crash whenever I try to open the app and SuperSU asks to grant permission. Reboots the device every time. Anyone know of a fix? I'm rooted but with the stock rom. No custom rom installed or anything. Thanks in advance!
