[APP][FEEDBACK] Arnova8G2's Google Camera Port

This thread has been created to provide RN3 feedback to @Arnova8G2 regarding his port of the Google Camera app.

• Describe your experience (mostly what doesn't work as expected)
• Provide logcats: the dev does not have your phone, so logs are needed if you want him to fix stuff (How to take logcats?)
• Mention @Arnova8G2 when you post your feedback

Is it only for portrait mode? Normal mode is not working for me

What works:
Video recording, front and back cameras
Portrait mode on rear camera
Front camera with regular pictures

Not working:
Hdr+ rear camera is always showing black screen regardless of config.
Portrait mode in front camera(pressing shutter button does nothing)
Switching between front and back cameras makes the app crash

Tested with latest apk(1.4) on nos 8.1 magenta
Logs are attached ( change file extension to .log as file was too large) @Arnova8G2

*one more bug:-
There is lot of lags while viewing or zooming an image in camera after capturing. This is a constant bug which i have seen from beginning. (this is what makes using camera uneasy infront of others)
Hope in fix for this

Hello @Arnova8G2, attached zip file with camera2test full log and 3 logcat of crashes using different settings, each begins with app settings for that crash and what I did to make it crash. Thanks for you hard work!
By the way I am running Cardinal OS official 5.3, Android 8.1, nano opengapps, magisk v 15.2 with busybox
Phone is xiaomi redmi note 3 pro 3/32

Dear @Arnova8G2, thank you (and BSG) for bringing GCam to our device. I am using your gcam v1.5beta. HDR+ works like a charm. I found bugs is HDR+ doesn't work with front camera and sometime FC when i try to take selfie. Other bug is can swich camera in portrait mod and picture taken from portrait mod in front camera has greenish tint.
Here is my Logcat (unzip to see txt file).

Ver 1.4 and 1.5 portrait mode is working well on Nos 8.1. HDR+ works well too except for front cam HDR+ (maybe not supported on our device) only issue I see so far is that the quality of portrait photos isn't as good as regular shots, the camera seems to be using a higher iso for some reason in portrait mode and the pictures come out grainy.

sir , your mod is awesome , Only problem is Greenish tint in front portrait mode. Please fix it. Again thank you so muchhhhhh.......... to support KENZO

If you are using Nitrogen OS 8.1, go to:

Settings->System->Developer options->Set GPU Renderer

and select: OpenGL (Skia)

This solved the issue for me...
