hi... sir Arnova8G2's i here to request you to implement the fingerprint shutter option in gcam becoz it's a very handy feature i got a magisk module from a thread and its only working in normal hdr mode but not in lens blur or potrait mode... I'm attaching the zip file below and thanks to the fingerprint shutter developer for this.... please if u could please implement this feature any how in next build with potrait and lens blur mode...as the Google pixel has that fingerprint shutter feature....i will give the link below I'm not the developer of this module just shareing it...and it is working both in oreo and nougat becoz it's universal one..

Same here.... I am on pixel experience. It seams flash is not synchronized with shutter. ANOVA V6. But same problem with other versions. Any solution? The rest is fine. Thx!

Only one old google camera for omnivision dint crash in bright light.
But for that i need the fix for the pink problem.
If some one have the lib that fix this please to share.

Should Google's camera app work without gapps?

It does work without GApps on official LineageOS 14.1
However on LineageOS 15 it only works with GApps present. But the Image is still unofficial. Maybe something is missing.

I'm Francesco from Italy and I'm a new user of XDA Forum.
Today I've just installed Arnova v7.9.9 apk from the "official" website and it seems to be working fine on Nokia 6 2018 (6.1) 3/32 GB, expect for major bugs:

- If you change HDR settings from "normal" to "enhanced" from the top bar menu the app totally freeze. If you're lucky you don't have to reboot your device and it automatically will return to home screen.

- By shooting with HDR "enhanced" and setting all of the other parameters on "ultra" the app is very low both in taking and processing the picture.

- Portrait Mode on front camera doesn't properly work. The app constantly crashes.

- Image Processing Time is very slow, especially in low-light conditions.

Are there any suggested settings to make it work fast like the stock app without compromising too much quality?
I'd like to contribuite the devolping process by sending logcats from my Nokia 6.1, but it's not clear how to do it.
I also wanted to thank @Arnova8G2 for providing constant updates and for developing this camera app that now it's definitely spreading worldwide. I hope that my report could be useful for future updates.

v7.9.9 crashed a lot for me especially when taking several photos. Try using the latest v8 one. It seems to be the most stable and hardly any crashes for me.

I'm currently running on Lineage 15.1 and it seems that slowmo is not working on Oreo yet so they've added the option to remove slowmo for the time being.

Yes, if you upgrade to Miui 10 beta at the moment, Google Camera is broken. You just get a black screen, no matter which Gcam Mod version i tried of the 5.1.18 builds, none worked.

Miui 9 doesn't have this issue.
