Could you show some of the examples of the red/blue speckles? I think i've seen some of it but when I use HDR+ Enhanced, it'd almost be gone. I'm using Arnova's v8.2 now
Will do tonight; have no access to the phone right now.
I haven't tried HDR+ Enhanced yet, only "normal" HDR+. Will try this before I send the examples; maybe I already see some improvement there...

EDIT:
Pictures attached.
They're downsized, only to show the mentioned effect...

Are those taken with HDR+ Enhanced or not? I think this happens when there's very little light

Yes, there was little light when I took the pictures - but should Google Camera not be way better than stock camera expecially in low light (and very bright light...)?
Oh, and the pictures were taken with HDR+. I tried HDR+ Enhanced also, but the pictures looked basically the same...

Have you tried the latest Arnova8G2's v8.2? Attached is a sample I took in low light with HDR+ Enhanced.

I noticed that with Saneklic version, to get the HDR+ Enhanced working properly on my phone, I'd have to mess around with the HDR+ parameters a bit. Set it to any number from the default and test to see if the camera takes a while to take a photo or not.

@Arnova8G2

With OmniVision sensors, sometimes in bright light CONTROL_POST_RAW_SENSITIVITY_BOOST and SENSOR_INFO_SENSITIVITY_RANGE return 0 so adding a min of 110.

This will further reduce crashes with OmniVision sensors.

Anyone know what's actually the difference between Pixel2Mod and Pixel3Mod Gcam by Arnova8G2? Just curious as I can never get the Pixel3Mod to work.

Where do I get this version?

On latest debug version of Gcam 6 by Arnova8G2, Night Sight is working for Mido! I'll link the post after I got the link again. Currently, Gcam 6 seems to be working only on Pixel Experience Pie rom and is quite laggy. But Night Sight works nontheless! I'll include the comparison photos as well

Edit: Here's the link to Arnova8G2's post. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77984500&postcount=3129

Edit2: Device info are as follow:-
* Pixel Experience 24th Oct Pie Rom
* Samsung rear camera sensor
* 3GB, 32GB version (not sure if this is necessary. Maybe 4GB models will have better experience?)

The brighter photo is with Night Sight on the debug Gcam while the dimmer one is Arnova8G2's Gcam 5.1 with HDR+ Enhanced enabled

I triee it and it works also with 28.10.2018 Crdroid 9.0 pie rom!!!
Mido, Samsung sensor and 3GB,32GB version.
I am making lot of photos and no FCs until now, the only defect is that the HDR processing is much slower than previous GCamera versions

Oh man, that's great to know! Does it lag in the viewfinder for you? In my case it's pretty laggy but photos are taken pretty quickly despite the lag.
