GCmod5 app is not opening in my device. I'm using Redmi note 4 with MIUI 9.

* Pixel Experience 24th Oct Pie Rom
* Samsung rear camera sensor
* 3GB, 32GB version (not sure if this is necessary. Maybe 4GB models will have better experience?)

Tried downloading debug.apk but while installing it gives parsing error. I am on Miui 9 rooted with camera 2 api enabled. Omnivision sensor. Any help on this?

I haven't gotten any Gcam 6 working on anything other than Pie custom roms. You might want to flash Pie roms and test it out.

There's a version of Gcam 6 that works on Android 8.1 with night site (MGC_6.1.013_MiMAX2_V1b_A8.1+fix_Hexagon_failed+blFront.apk), but if you are on Miui 9 based on Android 7.0, your out of luck.

There's a Miui rom, Miui Pro, based on Android 8.1 in the roms section if you want to stick with Miui. But you will have to leave the standard Xiaomi Miui for the Redmi Note 4x if you want to use Gcam 6.

Gcam 5 - you can stay on stock Miui 9 rom

Yes, i use this version on Android 8.1 LineageOS 15.1 extended edition and find its very stable

I test the last arnova gcam 6 but front camera takes very dark and green photos .
Night sight works well.
Samsung sensor front back pixel experience rom.

I am using nexus 6p for the Camera model and it saves images for me.

All front facing camera images when hdr+ is on are green and not detailed, so it's still got bugs to be fixed.

But the back Camera works on my device with a Samsung sensor.

I use Gcam 5 for general use and Gcam 6 if i want night sight. I also like the newer panorama method in Gcam 6.
