This thread has been created to provide Le Max 2 feedback to @Arnova8G2 regarding his port of the Google Camera app.

• Describe your experience (mostly what doesn't work as expected)
• Provide logcats: the dev does not have your phone, so logs are needed if you want him to fix stuff (How to take logcats?)
• Mention @Arnova8G2 when you post your feedback

Awesome. I have lineage os 14.1 @Arnova8G2 Mod till version 1.2 worked fine, but since 1.3 when I switch to video mode it force closes. Any ideas?

Hey ciao. How do I get logs? I can't find any info.
Do I have to do that by adb logcat? I'm a total noob when it comes to android stuff.

You could use adb, yes, or apps such Catlog (start recording, perform the action you want to take logs of, stop recording and save the logcat)

Download camera2 test from play store and copy the full log.

This is for Le max 2 on Slim7 ROM 7.1.2, the focus is not very good and does not like focusing on small or close objects that much, also using your latest Gcam only the back portrait mode only works with people and the front portrait is green and not usable, motion photos does not work and when triggered crashes the app. When using HDR there is sometimes red dots (this mostly happens in dark conditions). Thanks for your work.

@Arnova8G2 Video mode crashes in 1.3 and 1.4. Works fine in 1.2

• Add toggle hdr+ in front camera for portrait mode (For hdr + front camera compatible devices)

I'm also on ACIP 13.1 and BSG's Mi5S V2b FC all the time, using GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.5Beta2 which works good beside click sound of focusing each time I open app or come back from gallery.

Odd, your settings just give me black screen. And none of the settings in this BSG mod give me actual HDR+. GCMod5 works well though.

Oh, could be the device model and modem? I am on the Indian model x821 and using the 19s modem. Was previously using the 26s modem which did result in camera fc, so I switched back to 19s (the default modem for my device)

Also I did have the black viewport problem until I cleared the app data from settings.

Tried the last thing. By working front portrait you meant the background blur effect?
