4 Years ago, I began to develop fooView, a productivity app to be simple for using the Android phones.
(You might check the background here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-fooview-alpha-im-t3326901)
Still many users ask me for a simple file manager like ES File Explorer, and they don't want other features such as floating, etc.
Today I extract a new file manager from fooView, it works as a normal file manager, without asking for floating and other permissions, for you.

Download FV File Explorer on Google Play.

I still use an older version of ES File Explorer. Thanks for that.

Now coming to FV File Explorer, I have just discovered it and installed it. Is there any explanation/guide to use it? I am not able to find the cut/paste/move option. The property option when an app is selected, takes me to the Settings in the ROM and doesn't give me the option to set permissions like 755 etc. (which is available in ES).

Any pointers?

Thanks. For moving files, according to recent years trends, FV uses moveto style, without using the clipboard to transfer files. Just select files and choose moveto/copyto.
For change file permissions, enable "root explorer" from the advanced settings in settings first.
