Is possible to set Facebook status?
I'd like to send and receive message from Facebook (like in Facebook messenger in Android/iOs) but I don't want to appear online.
is possible to add this feature in next release?
P.s.
i have some problems with gTalk history.
if i receive a message while the app is closed, if i tap on the notification/reopen the app, in the chat conversation window i don't see the message just received.
If i close a conversation and then i reopen it, i'm not able to see chat history

version 2.25 doesn't work on lumia 800....
agreed. It worked fine until recently. First noticed a problem yesterday.
Lumia 800, WiFi or 3g.
the Facebook log in webpage pops up repeatedly even when the password is entered correctly.
However, if i choose not to re-enter the back button, i can send a few msgs before the login screen reappears.

I saw that today version 2.26 has been released.
unfortunately I'm still experiencing notifications issue (while the app is colosed i don't receive incoming message notification) for Facebook account.
other bugs:
gTalk
History issue: closing a chat and reopening it i'm not able to see previous chat. if I leave a chat opened and then i close the app, when i reopen the app chat is automatic closed so I lose chat history.

some times the app doesn't display correctly online contacts: Some times the app shows some contacts as online (but they are offline) and viceversa.
I'm not able to see the most part of my offline contacts and neither to see message sent by them (the app is running in foreground, a contact of mine who is offline send me a message, but the app doesn't notify it).

Facebook chat now works greatly.
But I still have an issue with gTalk. If I close the app
my contacs see me offline.
P.s. Is there any possibility to remove banner? Is there a paid version of Fim? I see on market another Fim app by Yalla Apps but is still 2.24

Did you enabled push notifications for FIM?
Please wait for the Yalla Apps version to be updated (~week)

Yes. Push notification for Facebook account works greatly, but not for gTalk.
P.S. i've noticed another 'bug' for incoming Facebook messages.
If a Facebook friend of mine sends me a message when:
1) his/her status is set to Offline (for example this happens when someone is using Facebook Messenger for Android/iOs)
2) or if my status is set to Offline (independently from my friend status)
FIM doesn't notify anything. I've to manually open the inbox/chat for that user to discover new message.
I don't know if this is a limitation of Facebook Api for offline message send/receive or can be 'fixed'.

OK, now I'm facing a following problem: a "friend" called "profiles" appreared on the chat list. I dunno what it was so therefore I'd like to ask the following question: how to remove friends off FIM friend list? That "profiles" is not visible in computer's Facebook chat.
This is fixed in v2.33, now available @ Marketplace.
If any members of the forum suffers from the following error with FIM
"NavigationFailed
Navigation is not allowed when the task is not in the foreground."
And have the ability to side-load apps, I can really use your help to solve it, please contact me.

Hi im new here , from Chile so sorry mi english...i have a problem... I cant activate push notifications when i go to login to active it and wait for the "succes" it doesnt show anything... I tried with internet Explorer and nothing. I also deleted the app and re-instalo and ...nothing :[

6Name: Fim (Facebook & Google Talk Instant Messenger)
Fim is a Facebook chat application for Windows Phone 7 that gives you a simple way to instant message with your online Facebook friends.
Fim does not require 3rd party registration or 3rd party access to your personal data.
Tips:
* If login fails and you have non English letters in your password, change it to English letters and numbers only
* Touch and Hold (aka context menu) on a conversation to clear chat windows/close permanently/copy paste messages/open profile/pin user tile to start menu
* Disable the "view previous conversations" option for faster login & less data consuming, you can load manually for each conversation in its context menu
* Scroll the login screen to see all preferences / activate push
* In case you didn't know: currently wp7 apps doesn't run in the background, so unless you activated push notifications for fim, its impossible to stay online if you are navigating to the start menu or to another app. It is possible though to stay in when the device is locked, in order to achieve this, you need to check "Run Under a Locked Screen" in settings
Push notifications guidelines for Fim
* Notifications will only be enabled after a successful login in the app itself, please allow ~20 seconds for notifications to activate before leaving the app.
* If "Tile Notifications" is enabled, don't forget to "pin to start" Fim
* Keep in mind that notifications might not be available at all times
* There is a limit of chat messages that will be pushed, it will reset after re-login using the app itself
* There is a limit of time that the notifications server will hold your session, please sign-in using the app itself every couple of hours
* Make sure you have approved Fim as a facebook app (browsing http://app.mosko.mobi should read "Success")
* If you have never managed to receive notifications on behalf of Fim, or had both side-load xap & Marketplace version installed on your phone, try to remove the end points entries from your phone's registry (search the forum for this procedure) or "factory reset" your phone.

* please post on this thread, and not on a private message
* report any error messages you got from the software
* when reporting first check if your question hasn't been asked or your bug hasn't been reported yet.
* make sure you have installed the latest FIM version available on the Marketplace
* don't forget to mention your type of device, os/rom version and type of internet connection used.
