Thanks for clarifying. I actually prefer it on one row too, but I thought the second image might be better suited for a square image, which will be used for the app icon and tile for ForumTalk. I am using the one-line image for the splash screen and inside the app.

I like them both, you can use the top one for the Panorama Banner perhaps?

Anyway, it'd be cool if you can set the tile to use accent-color as the background. That green would look foul against my blue background

Thanks for feedback, I actually am currently using the top one for the panorama banner, in fact, that's mostly what it was designed for
I will probably make the accent-colored tile an optional change (similar to my app Next Browser if you've seen it), but my only concern is the orange used in the text is very similar to the accent color 'mango' which could be a problem.

Also, status update:
I keep going back and forth, but I have finally decided that beta 1 is about ready. I still have some other things on my list, and I'm sure I will find a lot more while testing tomorrow, but I will release it soon. Unfortunately, it is decided that this beta will not be capable of logging in to any forums due to a very annoying, but fixable, but annoying bug I will have to overcome in the future.

BTW, I can't make any promises, so I won't give an ETA. Sorry.

Both logo's are nice. As you said, first one will be apt for Panaroma view and second for live tile.

I would also like to stress the request to make the live tile supports accent color of the phone.

If anyone is interested, I'd like to share a quick update:

I got a lot done today, I was hoping to release ForumTalk Beta 1 tonight, but it's not quite there. Hopefully tomorrow morning I can submit it, meaning after the 4-8 hour delay that always follows, it should be ready for download around 2-6 PM Mountain Time.

Awesome, you're on beta. I'll let you know when I have a download link.

And about the phone, really whatever works best for you is ok. Honestly, the Focus and Quantum are the same to me, being first-generation Windows Phones. I have a Lumia 900 too, so one of the first gens would be best, but I don't really care which phone you choose.
