Appreciate your hard work but you might as well include ads and provide full features in the free version. Otherwise I guess sticking to Board Express' free version is more feasible. Nevertheless great app, thanks a lot for all the development

Thanks everyone for speaking up. I have always planned on a free version with ads, the question was always what features to include. From the feedback I'm getting the impression you probably won't pay for this? That's alright, it's your choice. I'm thinking final product will have $1.99 paid, with full-featured/ad-supported trial. Sorry to raise the price, but I will be getting less purchases by including all features in the trial.

Anyway, the version I submitted will be a little disappointing, only because I was trying to get it into the store as fast as possible. It will cost $.99 for the full version, and the trial version limits the ability to log in. Very sorry, like I said, I will probably change my strategy in the update.

Last thing. I want to prove to Tapatalk my app is stable and usable, because in their opinion, it's not, to the point where they won't give me search access. (1st version includes Tapatalk forums, XDA, and WpCentral forums--email/post/tweet me, I WILL add more upon request!!) Honestly, I think that's not justifiable, but it comes down to their decision. My plan is to show them my (hopefully) great reviews once it's in the store, right after my stability/perf update gets certified. That way, they can not only test it again, but also see other users' approval. They have promised me the search functionality once it is more stable.

So long story short, please, everyone, be reasonable with your reviews, I am going to update quite often, and my top priority is getting search functionality.

I loved this app from the beginning.
Especially the way it looks
I will download the free version. No probleem with the ads...
I was sad that i had to change email so i couldnt download the beta anymore.

Just downloaded the trial version & I really like the layout & the selectable themes. Seems to load up quickly & smoothly.

There's about another 5 forums I use & that would be great if you could add them for me & I would then buy the paid version - can I pm you my forum list.

* when browsing a forum could we have a button to "mark forums read".

* when in a forum can we have menu to "show new posts" without having to browse through all subscribed forums.

ForumTalk update submitted! Thanks everyone! Now I can add new forums instantly, without going through the cert process again. Please expect 5-8 days for the update to be certified and pushed to your device, assuming it doesn't fail. (It shouldn't because it's already passed once).

If you are a long time Windows Phone user you will know that wonderful 5-8 day delay is all on Microsoft
Windows 8, on the other hand, is about 1 day. Why they differ so much, I don't know.

In case you're interested, my goals for this app, not in any order, are:
-Tapatalk search support
-Faster speed/perf
-Missing features like pinning forums
-WP8 support

Update approved! Microsoft seems to be getting faster in not only certifying, but also publishing. It is already showing up on my device. Give it some time if it won't show up on yours yet. I did have to find ForumTalk in the store, then hit update. (it hadn't automatically prompted me yet)

This update will add your user submitted forums and even more upcoming forums in real time!! Please give a good review, Christmas break is my coding time! Hope to get work done on this soon.

hi .. aloso bought the market wersion...and left a review with 5 stars waitin for the new updates (pin forums to start screen and forum search ) ... and fingers crossed for tapatalk support

I'm assuming by forum search you mean searching FOR forums, but if you were wondering about searching WITHIN forums, that is a feature. Choose a forum from the faves menu (on front page), click the application bar, and tap the far left search icon. You can search by topic or post

Hey everyone, I just submitted a new update to ForumTalk. This update will support searching for forums, as well as categories and popular forums. Thanks everyone who bought it, its been successful for me so far. I would really appreciate some bug reports and/or stability issues posted into this thread or emailed to me at [email protected]. I want to make the next update a major, stable, release so I can start promoting ForumTalk to websites. After that I am looking to support Windows Phone 8 with it.

I really like the layout & themes of this app but would it be possible to add the following features please, as although I got the paid version, I just don't use it as it's too time consuming for me to manually check each individual sub forum for new posts.

* when browsing a forum could we have a button to "mark forums read".

* some sort of coloured notification (maybe sub forum highlighted in a different colour) next to a forum to show that new posts are present - like tapatalk for android has BUT board express doesn't have.
