Galaxy S2 Orange Poland [PL] - successful simlock removal

Hello,

It works on Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100), Orange, Poland, rom JellyBeam 6.4 (Android 4.2.2 JDQ39)
Galaxy s2 SIM unlock from Play Store didn't worked for me. GalaxSim Unlock worked greate.

Tahnk you so much. I have been aborad and I have realized I can't use any other SIM card. This app helped me a a lot.

As for relocking a device you can't do it easily as unlocking removes data (ie. locked carriers mcc/mnc) from your device.

Doesnt work on GT-I9300 with latest 4.2.2 leak. I had already unlocked this phone fine with GalaxSim Unlock on 4.1.2. After upgrading to 4.2.2 GalaxSim Unlock says that it can't read NV data.

I used your unlocker on my Galaxy s2 and it tells me the phone is unlocked, however if I try to use the phone it tells me "mobile network not available" There is also says "emergency calls only" on the lock screen. In your faq it suggested the phone my be hard locked to the rom, so I flashed a custom rom, but I still have the same problem. Your software still tells me my phone is fully unlocked.

Any idea what I should do next?

Check your IMEI number. If it's not OK then try to restore YOUR previously - I hope you have - backuped EFS, reboot your phone and try again with GSU.

If you can't find a solution look for Ariza patch here on XDA.

My phone is showing full signal bars
My IMEI is correct
I don't have a backed up EFS folder (stupid mistake)
I cannot manually or automatically connect to any network


Do you think I may have a brick on my hands?

No, I don't think that, but there's a chance... I suppose that you have to try the mentioned Ariza patch http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1918601

Last night a GalaxSim Unlock update was received from the Play Store. The phone was reported as "locked". I ran unlock again and apparently it has worked fine. It also survived a cold reboot.

Could you also check your serial number ? If it has been reset, your device won't connect to network. I can fix it though.
Anyway I4m not sure you read the right section of the faq : a hardlocked device will still request a sim unlock code. If yours doesn't, please have a look at the "no network connection" section in the faq.

Due to law changes in the US, I had to temporarily remove GSU from the play store. Hopefully the expected revert of the law will be made soon.
