Please provide more details. Kindly check FAQs also. Thank you.
I start using facebook and it works very smoothly but after a few downloads, the refresh rate changes and drops
Yes, very soon.
Ensure to reselect adaptive in the app before uninstalling.
We have the same device and I don't have these issues in v7.13.01. Try to clear app's data. The Latest Version 7.13.01 doesn't go down to 48hz, even though is set to 48hz minimum. Moreover, there is flickering on low brightness and an unstable Refresh Rate monitor. SO I SWITCHED BACK TO V 7.12.50, which is so far the most stable version.
Note 20 Ultra, N9860.
This must be a bug on AOD. Try performing Clear Data of Always on Display in settings app.
It seems that GMH background service was killed by the system.
Please pm me the details so I can check.
Hello, when I enable Gpu watch in the developer options
Have tried clearing data of AOD. Still same, if i lock the device when it's in 96 hz or 48 hz the AOD wont show. I have to double tap the screen to wake from locksreen and let it sleep again will bring the AOD. Pleased check attached video. Device in august security patch AUGM
This works. Thanks..
Alarm clock is not affected by doze
Great. It's a known bug on android 11. I read android 12 fixed it already.
I need add the app to the manual list. It should be automatic for video apps who declared itself as a video app in its manifest.
It's a bug. Pls do in-app update to get the fixed version.
Also dev @tribalfsOk, still the same problem it seems. I uninstalled GMH from my phone, set smoothness to High, turned on refresh rate in dev options, and the AOD is still stuck at 120hz. As far as I understand, the default setting of High should make AOD go to 60hz in OneUI3.1. Why is it that AOD goes to 60hz when GMH is installed but then gets stuck at 120hz when I uninstall GMH?
BTW, the flickering issue is still there in the latest version you uploaded as well. Still doesn't seem to honor the brightness threshold and keeps switching unless the brightness slider is set to sky high values like 150.
SM-G986U (S20+ 5G)
I'll pm you once done to test.
Yes, when it's out. From what I seeing, the latest versions fixed all bugs of variable refresh rate.
At this point I think that I'll keep it installed and provide some minor suggestions, because it's a real good (and useful) app.
@tribalfs Do you count to adapt this app to OneUI 4.0 asap, after the first released beta?

Feel free to ask questions relevant to this app here but ensure to read the FAQs first before doing so.
For suspected bugs, you can post it here (or send me a direct message). Read the FAQs also to check if it is an intended/expected behavior or not. Also check if the latest version is already installed in your device. Please include complete your complete device model number(should not be modified), android version, stock or modded rom, GMH version number and the issue/bug you are reporting and the steps/scenarios how to reproduce it. Support maybe limited on modded roms.
It some cases I maybe need to see a screenshot of your GMH settings and/or screen recording* showing the bug/issue. You can use this screen recording app capable of screen recording at high refresh rates
If GMH crashes on your device, please send me the crashlog of your device. Just execute the following adb command (do this after the crash):
Then locate crashlog.txt file in your adb installation folder then send it to me. In most cases the culprit can be identified and addressed using this file. Otherwise, I may send a you specially build apk to get the full stacktrace.
Due to the app usage of non-sdk and non-public api to execute most of its features, it is not guaranteed that all of its features are going to work in the future android iterations, should the new iteration block/disable them. But the dev will do his best to keep it working as long as possible.

Added Auto SENSORS OFF (experimental non-root workaround): Device sensors will automatically turn off while screen is off until the device is unlocked. With tasker support so you can enable and disable this setting on the conditions you set.
Anti-flicker: added minimum brightness threshold for Adaptive mod similar to the native one. When the device's display brightness falls below the set minimum brightness threshold, adaptive mod will pause and will resume once the brightness increases again above the threshold. This is for devices that are experiencing flickers when refresh rate switches at certain low brightness level.

@tribalfs Thanks for all your work, amazing app!
I'm having some issue with S21 ultra v6.61 the app is detecting my lowest hz differently each time sometime it detects 60 sometimes 120 (although the actual should be 10).
Also is there an option to set a specific hz for certain app?
Same here, I think the dev mentioned that screen profiles aren't being loaded properly but the link seems to be broken to the update that fixes the issue. All we can do is be patient for now. I tried to get back 48hz by wiping and uninstalling but that broke adaptive for me as well
- Fixed bug on refresh rate profiles not properly loading(bug inroduced in v6.61)
Clearing app data is highly recommended after this update
