Easy fix, just adjust the threshold of brightness so that the Refresh Rate stays at 120/96, when at a brightness lower than 15/10 percent. Currently working workaround is to start Dex with external monitor and after disconnecting it 120hz with battery saving works fine. Enable so system will not kill the app process. Disabling it is same to putting the app to "restricted" battery settings.This toggle should remain active or inactive? This doubt is killing for months.![]()

It seems Samsung totally disabled 48Hz in S20 OneUI548Hz on AOD doesn't work anymore, OneUI 5, S20 Exynos. Goes down to 60Hz but not 48
Yeah, using SM-G980F here too and that was not working, i had to uninstall the because i felt it was not worth keeping it, seemed that was draining a big chunk of battery but not showing on device care.

Update: After spending some hours of research and tests, I think I now have a workaround to mimic adaptive refresh rate behavior for devices with high refresh rates like S20s. Not 100% perfect but seems working well.

I am getting crashes after latest update. Mostly when I switch between normal apps and apps in secure folder. The app has stopped and it closes.
Yes, because you are in adaptive mode now. Adaptive is working but not the high mode. I will push an update to fix this soon.Now that I did the thing with the adb I have the same problem. Small screen flash when the rate changes.
