Maybe the Fold 3 outer screen only supports 60 and 120, while the inner one adds 48 and 96?

On the outer screen, it only reports 96 on the status indicator when locked in high, but feels like 60.

On the inner screen, adaptive hits 96 and feels smooth in adaptive.

Ugh... Maybe different models have different front panels or something?

When I have adaptive+120 enabled, on my outer screen, I can watch the statusbar indicator and see it jump to 120 for scrolling then back to 60 afterwards.

With adaptive+96 enabled, on my outer screen, it stays at 60 when I scroll.

On the inside panel, adaptive+96 shows 96 when I scroll, and then comes back down to 60.

It's very strange.

Any chance of logging or graphing? Or does it at least output to ADB? (I haven't checked)

What are the chances of getting adaptive to do 48 instead of 60 for the slow refresh rate? That'd be wild to try out.

I am also seeing the outer display go from 96hz down to 60hz and does not adapt back to the 96hz. Moving the slider to 120hz and back to 96hz does again show 96hz but locks back to 60hz and does not adaptively go back to 96hz well touching the screen. All these issues are happening on the outer screen, inner display works as it should.

Also noticing the min hz for adaptive slider is also stuck at 60hz and you are unable to set it to 48hz. Maybe this has something to do with the outer display locking to 60hz as a posed to 96hz when set in the app.

I got the toggle working again by disabling motion smoothness and then re-enable adaptive in stocks settings. Still the 60hz locking on front screen.

Amazing app! It has been working like a charm on the Fold2 and Fold3!

Will there be an update for Android 12 OneUI 4.0 support? It seems that now I have updated to the beta, sometimes the app works like a charm but most of the time, my phone is stuck in 60hz, both inner and outer screens, (I run battery saving mode 24/7) no matter the settings I change.

Thanks for the update, but I think my fold 3 still won't do 120hz on PSM mode, do I have to do anything to make it work?

When putting it back to 120hz it works with the variable hz again.

I am on the last update.

When setting adaptive to 96hz and minimum on 48hz, Edge Browser is dropping to 48hz only.
When setting it back to 120hz it works properly....

Like I said only Edge Browser this, stable, beta etc

This is only when browsing, when I go to the settings it works properly.
All other browser's are also just fine.

It seems edge browser not properly handling adaptive 96hz - this can be fixed only on edge end.

Check the brightness threshold - lower it or set to 0.
