Please disable and re-enable toggle in the app. Please note 2nd sentence below:Can confirm that, 'Protect battery mod' is broken in 8.1.1 on S21U exynos. I tried giving 'WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS' permission through ADB again, no luck. I noticed the problem few days back when device started getting charged to 100% despite selecting 95% in 'Protect battery mod'. Also, I have noticed that even when 'Protect battery mod' toggle is on in GMH, 'Protect battery' toggle is off in device settings.
Protect battery mod triggers the device built-in battery charge limiter when the battery charge reaches the set maximum charge.
If enabled and set to > 85%, it will override the built-in toggle found in the device settings.
I'll look more into this.Oh! Thanks for clarifying how it works. I reinstalled the app, gave permission using adb and disabled and re-enabled the toggle. No good. It goes on charging till 100%.
Please check v8.1.2 in-app update.I'll look more into this.Oh! Thanks for clarifying how it works. I reinstalled the app, gave permission using adb and disabled and re-enabled the toggle. No good. It goes on charging till 100%.
This feature is still experimental due to behavioral inconsistency of the API being used by this feature.
Thanks.
Whoa! that was quick. Worked well in the 1st charge cycle after update. Shall test further and keep you posted.
The app just read the available refresh rates that's provided by the device system configuration and just use what's available. 48Hz is the lowest refresh rate available. I don't know exactly why 10Hz is not available. Could be that it's not enabled or samsung could be referring to a different definition of refresh rate for the 10Hz rating - a sort of surface buffer optimization.So I just got a S21 Ultra and purchased another license for the device (coming from a S20+). Samsung advertises a 10-120hz LTPO panel but the app only goes down to 48hz under adaptive mode. From searching around it looks like you can set the S22 Ultra down to 10hz but why not the S21 Ultra?
There seems to be confusion regarding whether the S21 Ultra actually does go down to 10hz and the Show Refresh Rate under Developer Options seem to go down to a mininum of 48hz. Reasons include:
1) the panel does actually go down to 10hz but the hz display counter doesn't display it for whatever reason;
2) the panel doesn't go down below 48hz because Samsung as disabled the functionality and the Galaxy Max Hz reflects this limitation
Which one is it? Why would Samsung not limit minimum refresh rate for the S22 Ultra and not the S21 Ultra (granted one is 1st gen vs 2nd gen LTPO)? Will Samsung issue a firmware update eventually for the display to actually go down to 10hz (assuming it is a firmware limitation now)?
Try to increase brightness a bit.
In the case of the S21the minimum refresh rate is 10hz. But under the adaptive setting in the Gmhz app the minimum you can specify on the slider is 48hz. Is there a reason why the slider doesn't go down to 10hz in your app?The app just read the available refresh rates that's provided by the device system configuration and just use what's available. 10Hz is the lowest refresh rate available. Sorry, I meant 48Hz. I thought this is S23Ultra thread. Corrected my answer aboveIn the case of the S21the minimum refresh rate is 10hz. Mate he means that you pay for one device and this key will be bond to your specific device. If you change your device you must buy a new key. Hope you understand nowThanks for the reply, I am not using it on multiple devices or for multiple users, I have sold the previous phone and obviously the app is not sold with the device it was reseted to factory settings. Than installed the app on this device and as per your instructions in the FAQs got the activation code from Google play invoice. In order to be fair in my opinion it should activate on this device, but anyway if it doesn't than it doesn't, all the best, cheers
Read the thread. You need to activate it using ADBWhy most of feature not working on my s21 ultra i purchased this app all the features doesn't work on s21 ultra i need refuned plz

Mate got a question for you, as many of us have issues with one wake lock, CameraService_worker. It trigger when you walk and only way to get rid of it is to disable sensors. Is there any chance you could make it happen in the app when screen is off? Add function for it as there is a tile from dev options but it's not perfect as it has to be done manually. Thanks
Thank you for this suggestion. I'll do some research on this and check what I can do.Good suggestion. I have quick tile for sensors but maybe you could implement it in your app. Turn off when display off. Like with PSM
