You mean "built-in" resolution changer?I can't change my resolution with quick tile anymore after reinstalling the app and enabling adb features. Also no more resolution settings in my Samsung settings.
Edit: I can use the quick tile to change resolution again after restart but I don't understand why the regular resolution settings are removed in case I would like to uninstall it. Also you must switch back to adaptive 120 before uninstall if you want closer to normal settings.
I have the S22+You mean "built-in" resolution changer?
Oh I don't know that samsung removed it in S22.
Sorry, existing workaround is blocked in OneUI5.0. No other workaround yet and not sure if we can find any.Hi, I'm using S22 Base SD
Been using pro version since a while and worked flawlessly on oneui 4.1
Updated to OneUI 5 yesterday and 120hz while power saving on does not seem to work
Any fixes for that or is it not yet supported?
Checkout the RR shown for different apps, for apps that have inbuilt camera (like WhatsApp, insta), RR goes down to 10hz and stays there even though the apps themselves run at above 10hz. This gives very choppy exp for camera viewfinder, For default camera app it is fine. For a while the issue didn't appear until today morning. That's strange.
Can you provide more details? Thank you.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?
With all due respect, the app's becoming less attractive with each update that renders more and more features invalid. A big reason for many people (including myself) getting this app is to try and conserve whatever battery they can, and it's starting to feel like we paid for nothing. Would really appreciate if you could continue efforts to find the workaround please.Sorry, existing workaround is blocked in OneUI5.0. No other workaround yet and not sure if we can find any.
I respect your opinion. But it's not that easy. Basically this feature is just exploiting a bug on the system and that bug was already patched. With all due respect, the app's becoming less attractive with each update that renders more and more features invalid. Ah OK didn't realise that. Sorry hope I didn't come across too rude, just frustrated was all.I respect your opinion. But it's not that easy. Basically this feature is just exploiting a bug on the system and that bug was already patched.
Sorry, this can't be overridden by any app - only the OEM can adjust this.96hz adaptive doesn't work if PSM isn't turned on, is that fixable?
Also reposting this Q, is there any way to ensure 96hz adaptive keeps working at lower brightness on base s22 with PSM?
If you are referring to refresh rate profiles, try to manually install the latest version from the link in the opening post and perform reload profile.
