So I was wondering If i could connect my mobile to PC directly without connecting the USB and in the search found this awesome app which exactly does this and made my life a lot easier.....

I just thought of sharing with you guys as its a great app......

It not only gives access to your sdcard but also root system files........

So does anyone know how exactly this transfers files. Does it use something like wifi direct because these speeds are far greater than my internet connection is... So my question is: is this connected to my phone via internet server or is it directly communicating with my phone via wifi or something else (what) ?

It's WiFi only..no internet.
