But in the post #41, the second screenshot shows, It's already implemented.

By the way, I don't have S3, maybe this makes any difference?

nope , it doesn`t but i`ll check , it seems to be another apk ...

well from that post is the 4.1.2 inverted (fully inverted) and what you and me are using it is the 4.2 inverted (not fully inverted though)
so you can choose , i think that the inverted v4.1.2 doesn`t have pinch to zoom but the other it has it ...

To install, I uninstalled the old app with titanium backup.. Then reboot and install the apk (Gmail_v4.2.apk)
There you go - pinch to zoom in Gmail!
....

Great gmail, as it should have been from the start (zoom..) just one lil thing : it shows "send picture/video" instead should just show "send file"

Just installed XXDLIJ (from XXDLIH), and the system locked up when I opened gmail. Rebooted and cleared data - works fine now, and now the sync button works properly!

It worked for me with an extra reboot

I'm stocked rooted 4.04 VZW GS3. I used Titanium Backup to uninstall, rebooted, side loaded and installed the .apk. I opened the app and it was stuck at "waiting for sync" After about 10 minutes of closing and opening the app and trying wifi and 4G, I rebooted the phone again it was working fine. Thanks!
