Hi everyone,
I thought I'd post my finding as I was looking for a good DPI changer for a while now. I tried quite a number of well-rated apps and even edited my build.prop but nothing really properly changed the DPI.
I finally found Easy DPI Changer and I'm very happy with it. :victory:  Other apps usually messed up the navigation bar and that just freaked my mind. I havent run a lot of apps after changing my DPI with this app so I'm not sure if it messed up some apps but as soon as I saw that the navigation bar was properly aligned and that the DPI changes worked in Settings and ES File Explorer I figured I need to share this with you guys. I'm not the developer of this so I do not take any credit for his/their work.
I applied the DPI changes on my L29 running B320. I've attached some screenshots for you guys as well. I first changed the "View Mode" in "Settings" to "Large" (that might be why the navigation bar is properly aligned), restarted and then changed the DPI. If I remember correctly I set mine to 320. I read on some posts that 320 is the minimum you can set it to for the Mate 8; not sure how true that is but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
To the guys at chornerman_studio, thank you for this great app! :good:
