Many thanks for this apk. I can confirmed that it works on my AT&T S4 (4.4.2). I have S4 Active sticker buttons (white and black) that came with my glass screen protector (I had a Samsung S4 Active before the screen burned). I missed my S4 Active and thought maybe I can make my S4 appear that it has hardware buttons. The sticker buttons fit nicely and gave it a good look. Unfortunately the menu and return backlight gave it away (glowing around the sticker). With this handy app, I can easily turn on or off the light behind the menu and return button. Looks classy.

Simply install the app, run it, and toggle your lights on or off, then your settings are remembered at boot.

UPDATE: 7/28/13

-- Added option to keep lights always on.
I think this app might have stopped working properly since my S4 GPE was updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. I keep checking the "Keep lights on all the time?" checkbox, but it keeps unchecking itself as soon as I exit the app. Seems like it's not remembering my selection on Android 5.0.

Furthermore the Settings menu does not seem to work. I tap the three dots in the upper right corner (or use the menu button), a menu folds out with the "Settings" option, but nothing happens when I tap it.

Dang! Didn't realize this was still used!

About settings, there aren't any. Eclipse automatically adds the settings option but I never made it do anything.

About it not remembering the check box, not sure why it's doing that. I honestly don't think I have the source code for this anymore so I would have to start over (which might be better for android 5) if I have some time I'll see what I can do. I currently have nothing that has android 5 on it so I can't test.
