Basically, trying to say that the links appear to be safe even though the site is not "official"

Here is xda forum which exist before even vanced and revanced appeared, known for custom and modded android stuff. All threads and stuff shared here are highly monitored by Moderators of the xda. Also I believe I am kinda "trusted" person on xda. If you think something is shady please report me to the moderators.

These random sites you are looking at exist and appeared only to make money, or even be malware, you don't have "touch" with the owners of these sites who make these apks, you don't know who are they and they misleading the people by presenting as "official" especially the io site.

It's all about transparency and purpose. Read this.

Magisk module fails to update to latest "youtube-revanced-extended-magisk-v18.15.40". Module was successful to update to latest ReVanced releases for weeks. However this time v18.14.41 to v18.15.40 fails. Module shows flashing is successful but after reboot, when I check ReVanced Extended app version is shown as 18.14.41 and Module version as v18.15.40 and the app forces to close when is launched. I think the Module fails to update base apk to v18.15.40. Does anyone experience same issue?
PS: When I flash back to v18.14.41 with necessary steps, the app runs perfectly.

Hey, i installed Revanced Extended (Magisk version) and it closes immediately after opening. In logcat it says that package is singed with unknown certificate:
4-23 14:32:57.248 3827 24654 E DatabaseUtils: java.lang.SecurityException: GoogleCertificatesRslt: Package signed with unknown certificate (go/gsrlt)

Can someone may be help me, did i something wrong? Full logcat in attachment. Thank you.

Please try the RVX Magisk Module from RVX_Lite Telegram channel as it's the only supported channel by inotia00. I may change the source in my thread of Extended Magisk Module to this one. (Please use only the Magisk Module from this channel because non rooted stuff redirects to pay per click/download site)

So ive been trying to get it to work for the past week or so, but im having unexpected trouble I'm not sure how to deal with.
I'm on a rooted Samsung galaxy tab s7, so I'm following the steps for rooted devices. I want to install revanced extended.
Using the revanced manager method works, I have no problem patching the app and it works for a few days, but after an apparently random amount of time I see the YouTube app is installed again, and the revanced app is gone. But how is this possible? I have auto updates turned off and I'm using mindetach. I also tried switching to detach3 but there's no difference. I seriously don't know what I am doing wrong.

I thought maybe installing via another method might give me better results, but I don't know enough about termux to mess around with it. So I tried to install it via noname exe magisk module, but after installing it, nothing happened at all (and I mean literally nothing. There was no app installed), so there's clearly something I don't understand.

In the meantime I'm using the non root version with microg and it works perfectly...

Would providing logs help in any way? I'm willing to try things.

It's known issue. Mentioned yesterday here and in the past. Usually happens after reboot.

If you really want the root version, try with Revancify via termux. You can just copy paste a line to mount it back when this happens. Revancify it's not that hard if you follow the guide there is also a video with steps.

I personally don't use the root version, others could help with workarounds if there is any.

Thank you. I'm sorry I didn't catch it but I didn't want to read through 62 pages... There's no mention of uninstalling anything before running that command in termux. I have original YouTube, microg and non-root revanced installed, as well as mindetach module. Is that ok?

Edit: Nevermind, it is mentioned and I need to uninstall and install supported version.

Guys how do I delete search history in Revanced Extended?

Open the "library". At the top left corner there's a clock icon. Tap on it to own the history. Then tap the 3 dots on the top right corner for the drop down menu.

That only clears the watch history
Seems there is no way to clear the search history on any of the recent youtube versions

Sorry, I misread.

Maybe it could be via Google account settings. In my device (non rooted, no GYT), it's set to auto delete after 36 month.

But I haven't really done any removal so far.

I had the same issue on my OnePlus 9 Pro- version was 13.40 (or something like that). Tried few other versions and no success. Weirdly- on my Mi8 update went without any problems.
