i've successfully patched latest YouTube apk using rvx builder,and changed according my preferences, but i have some questions, i've installed micro G apk and ReVanced-cli_v2.21.0-patches_v2.169.5 apk, but i do not see the subscribe button under the video using the new UI I only get it by forcing the old UI , did i miss something? or do i have to install the another apk called: ReVanced-cli_v2.21.0-patches_v2.169.5??? i hope someone can help me

also how do i activate the ambient mode option? it doesn't appear neither , and the option its set to unhide, im using revanced ext

If we are talking about the same ambient mode, while playing video press the top right button and select it.

yup the same but it doesnt show the option , maybe clearing cache?

ok i managed to have the ambient mode back i just put the app to not be restricted by the battery saver

Hello. Why does the option to delete playlist no longer appear on the main page? I have activated the option of not showing mixes but it seems not to be effective. thank you.

I only try for a minute, as a backup....but no video settings, no comments that i like to read...when scrolling down, only show some videos than return to top on a loop.....very,very, basic.
Also the options are confuse and weird, at last for me.
Sorry the hash words here, but not minimum impressed. Vanced is lights way from it, even not perfect.

Are we talking about the same app?
SmartTubeNext (Beta) has all these (video settings/comments and more - press the up button on your remote control while watching the video) and I have no loop at all. AndroidTV apps are slightly different due of UI to be usable via the remote control, you have to use the app for more than a minute to find everything and deep search it and eventually you will get used to it.
STN (Beta) is very fast, clean, open source and have useful features.
You won't find anything better than STN in my opinion, it has more than 10k stars in GitHub for a reason.
ReVanced is not officially supported/optimized for AndroidTV so..
Anyways, everyone has his own taste but I would suggest you to take again a better look for more than a minute.

wow..superb effort and its working fine. just missing some features like remember last changed video speed, (as you provided.... remember last changed video quality), custom speed display on the youtube player. wish those two features you will add in update patches. cherssssssss

Hi, if something is not working or missing please open an issue on GitHub of the dev kitadai31.
I don't use the version of android 6.0-7.1, I just built it with all the Recommended patches for users who didn't had a device with A8.0+.

It's known issue. Mentioned yesterday here and in the past. Usually happens after reboot.

If you really want the root version, try with Revancify via termux. You can just copy paste a line to mount it back when this happens. Revancify it's not that hard if you follow the guide there is also a video with steps.

I personally don't use the root version, others could help with workarounds if there is any.

Unfortunately, I run into the same issue with termux method. On Tuesday after your post I installed revancify and got revanced extended to work until today, when I woke up and noticed YouTube has been reset to default app.

The termux method doesn't prevent the issue but you can simply restore it by mount it back. Check here. For Revancify support check here.
If that is a big issue, you better use the non root version along with microG.

I'm seeing too much stutters and jitters when scrolling through YouTube feed in version 18.15.40. Do you have any idea why this is happening?

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with OneUI 5.1. Never had this problem on Vanced YouTube until which stopped working couple of days back.

If you patched Revanced including the debugging patch it may slow down the performance of the app. If so patch again with the latest patches and optimal would be to exclude it.

Revanced Extended.

And it's not just this phone. I'm seeing it on other phones too (different brands with their own OEM software). All are on Android 13.
