Getting an error message when trying to download a video after installing RVE.

I'm not a programmer. So this is a little bit out of my lane.

This is my situation.
I extracted & installed the Non Root, microG and then the ReVanced Extended.

These files.
mMicroG v0.2.27.231613.zip
ReVanced Extended (05-05-2023).zip

I am trying to download a YT video & then just cut the audio only from about the first two seconds of it for my kid's school project.

It opens & plays the YT links, only if I paste them into RVE & open them. I do have it set for default. Otherwise it seems to just open links directly in YT as it normally does before installing RVE.

I will work on that issue after resolving the error message.

It seems to work & play the videos but when I try to download it by tapping the download button in the bottom right of the video player, I get the error message:
"ussr.razar.youtube_dl is not installed. Please install it."

I searched the thread & xda in general but didn't find any info about it.

Google search mentions it but I haven't found anything specific yet.

What is that & is that what is needed to fix it?

im not a dev either, but im here just tryin to help.
after i search about ussr.razar.youtube, think you need to download PowerTube as an add-on or something..

You need an external app to download from revanced.
You can install Newpipe or Seal or Powertube then Go to ReVanced Extended Settings > Overlay button > Downloader settings > set a default app.

Hi there,, Do you open the revanced setting menu? Its located on the settings, scroll down near buttom, there you can found "revanced extended" setting. Alot off toggle turned on there by its default. Just turn off what you need and restart

The thing is that I don't know what setting is, that's why I was asking.

Yea it only happend with powertube.Works fine with newpipe.I didnt try seal

If you don't have any specific reason to use Powertube then use Newpipe/Seal to download stuff

The last 2-3 Updates suddenly dont work anymore. I flashed magisk Module Update yesterday and now Youtube no longer starts, it Crashes everytime.

Remove the Module you have now and install the latest Extended module by @Wolfcity. I changed the link at OP recently and replaced the Extended module from No-Name.exe to Wolfcity builds since no-name had issues and I trust more wolfcity. Reference here.

When I install revanced as root or as module, the detector app like Memory Detector by HuskyDG & Stillhard or Native Detector by vvb2060 will always detect revanced.

Anyone got a solution for this? Other than obvious not install as root.

I had noticed an issue with MicroG, it was working at first my status was connected, though later when I went to check it upon not seeing any notifications, I noticed that the status is disconnected, I might've installed the wrong MicroG as when I tried installing your "mMicroG" this one: mMicroG v0.2.27.231613.apk (before this one, I had a different one which was without an "m" in the prefix), it now is showing connected again, however, I don't know if it will stay this way.

I'd appreciate it if you could enlighten me as to what might've caused this issue and what I can do in the future to prevent it.

Use Vanced MicroG for now. mMicroG by inotia00 is in early phase but working good as far I know.
