Great, that was the post where I got this feeling from
I understand that I have to download the normal apps and then patch them in a similar way to the one I did for Youtube.
Now question is, where to find the apps with the proper build number to be possible to patch?
(I guess I cannot take the normal version from the PlayStore)
Also, for Facebook, they mean normal FB app or the one for messages? I ask because I don't have social for long time in my mobile and reading "Hides ads in inbox." makes me think they refer to Messanger?

But instagram have issues with the latest patches. If you wanna use it, use my ready apk which has the previous patches but still working I guess.
About Facebook I think the patches are for messenger.

Just tick on the name of the app (like com.facebook.orca) and it will lead you to the app in Playstore, in this case it's the messenger.Great, that was the post where I got this feeling from

Download as @Retrial said from APK mirror.
Tick on details and you'll see what patches are included and the versions they should work on.
Btw, often these patches only block ads or (if it's a paid app) activate premium features.
Most of them are not very stable.

I wanted to added as alternative option in the OP but I remember it had some issues with navigation, are these fixed in recent versions?

I'm using youtube-revanced_v18.19.35.apk (24-5-2023) download from Android File Host. I think the 'remove player button background' patch was left out from it. It's not working, there no setting for it in Settings>ReVanced>Layout like in the previous version which I was using. Not even in the new Import/Export Settings menu. First I thought it was because I directly installed the apk without uninstalling the previous version but then I uninstalled and reinstalled the apk but that didn't help. I tried to search for any solution in this thread and in the revanced-patches github but didn't find anything. Do someone using the same app have the same issue, or is it just me?
Hello. I have installed ReVanced Extended Youtube using magisk module. But after a few days of installation, youtube gets uninstalled automatically. I have detached youtube from Playstore, but still I face the problem regularly. What can I do to solve this issue?

I use the "default" - "recommended" patches and I excluded only what I wrote in the info of each app in post #2.
Patches Used: All Recommended, except Custom Branding (because it has ugly icon), Debugging, Premium Heading.
If you think they should be included in the default selection button or they missed them by mistake in the recent versions, open an issue on the GitHub of ReVanced or contact them in their Discord.
However, I patched it again included the patches: "export-all-activities" and "remove-player-button-background". Check Android File Host here or post #2 the .zip with date (28-05-2023) and let me know.

why not use the old vanced icon..... afaik most guys like it, and i don't think there will be any copyright issue (i maybe wrong though...)
The reason why Vanced took a DMCA Takedown was because of the icon as far as I know.
Also, I just use what the patches have, I am not gonna mess to change the icons to something different.
Why if other of us who use RV for almost a year or so like the new RV icon they put to the source on GitHub?

As I said Instagram has issue with the latest patches so that's why it's failed. It's already reported to ReVanced Team.

The back button (arrow) issue was in the settings menu(s).
Since then, the ReVanced settings menus do not include the back arrow so you need to use device navigation to go back.
Most users just swipe back naturally.

As microG is some kind of replacement for google play services it behaves like it. Basically it's meant to help several apps run, not just YouTube.
I don't know if it's possible to reprogram it the way you want it, I don't think so. But feel free to open an issue on GitHub.1
If you patch by yourself and new patches version is available:
1. Check if new rvx manager is available, if so download it and update the rvx manager.
2. Check patches changelog to see if new youtube version is supported, if so download the new supported youtube version from apkmirror otherwise continue with the same version you have already.
3. Patch the app. (Same steps)
4. Export it and install/update over your current installed app.
5. You are now updated to latest version of patches/integrations/yt version.
If you use my pre-made apks, simply download the new version and install/update it over the current one.1

10Guys I am thinking to stop providing Extended apks.
It's really bloated with unnecessary stuff, dev of rex announced he could discontinue it anytime, the future of it is unclear and probably short because of 1 dev and he isn't so much knowledgeable as inotia was.
All these (revanced-rvx-rex) make a lot of confusion to the end user.
Regular ReVanced made a lot of progress and nowdays I don't find any reason why someone should use Extended instead of regular ReVanced. The code and general the settings etc. are cleaner, there is a whole team to keep it up and the future is promising.
What do you think?10

My opinion is to stick to regular Revanced. These stuff with Extended (include Revancify), which they discontinue and then continue have became a joke and they only cause extra confusion to their users. -

ReVanced itself is a tool patcher. The apks which I build with this tool and to who I share them with, is not their business as long as I don't pretend are the "official revanced apks" and I don't profit from it. I can share it to my brother, to my father, to xda community and to anyone I want.
By spreading missinformations for my apks without a single proof is kinda meh. They should know better how XDA works since they using it themselves. I wonder why they don't report me to XDA Moderators if I share apks with malware? Btw I haven't seen anyone complain about my ready apks except one guy in the past who posted some no sense weirdo things and his posts removed by mods. I doubt if even that guy was using my apks since he reported a different version from what my apks was back then.
I understand they trying to force users to patch by themselves, I also recommend that (I have a big note at post #2 which my pre-made apks are), but these practices to call everyone and anything malware to achieve their goal, is at least a childish behaviour.
