@codeworkx

I've found it... now I know why I get the grey bars even with integrated snap cam.

the issue are the navbar settings. when I disable navbar with build. prop or with system settings or with gravitybox than I get the grey bars... but sadly I hate the nav bar so I'm using LTM... and that's why I getting the grey bars

somehow I can't change preview with setprop... terminal can't found that command

What does ltm stand for?

BTW thank you very much I was getting black bars too on my klte and we couldn't figure out what the issue was but turning on on screen nav bar buttons fixes those bars. However I also didn't like nav bar buttons but I guess I would need to get used to them until I get a new phone without physical buttons.

LTM is what Android should look like.

I might have been being totally stupid, but I couldn't get the shutter speed setting to work properly. If I was to set the shutter speed to 30 seconds then hit the shutter button, it would take a photo instantly rather than waiting 30 seconds collecting light. Is this a known issue?

I'm guessing it's a bug, I've tried it just now and it does the same thing
But it's meant for AOSP so that could be the problem.

Is it just me or is continuous shot/burst mode not working? I turned it on but i'm only getting one shot.

Using CM13 nightly from 15/1/2016

try holding the shutter button?
Yeah that's what I've been doing.

It seems if you press volume or power to take shot it takes 1 photo when "continuous shot" is on.
With the software button it takes 3 photos then stops. Can this limit be removed?

Cheers

Sorry for the maybe stupid question, to download a flashable updated zip, is it enough to download the zip from github? Or it is not flashable and contains just the source code? I can't understand.
