I have been using the free one to try wanting to buy the pro. But when it checks my heart rate I notice it takes a long time. Longer then stock. I will seen the heart icon on the stars bar for 10 mins or more. Running a Huawei watch latest android wear not preview
I have decided to go back to my watch for health reason ( new year again eh!), I did buy the pro key before and found the bill for it. BUT i cannot find it on the market anymore. Any suggestions what to do?
@jimmod Can your app Heart Rate OS, be made to use the native heart rate sensor built into the No.1 D5 Android 4.4.2 smart watch phone. It would be great if the app would 1) detect when you're inactive for 10 minutes (sleeping, or any time you're not moving your arm), 2) take the heart rate measurement, and 3) post this new heart rate data point, with geographic location, speed, altitude, whatever else google tracks, to google fit. Over wifi or cellular data. If neither is available, then fallback to a configured phone number to send it in a more compact format over SMS. This way the app can find a new use as a health and anti-lost tracker, to be worn by seniors/parents, and kids.
Currently HROS only support android wear, not planning support with android (not wear) watch.
I've been using this app a while now and it's good when it works but often it fails to take any readings at all for days on end. At the moment it hasn't taken an automatic reading for a week. It does it fine if I take a manual reading, but really I need the automatic readings as that's what I got the app for. I will likely upgrade to the pro version if the app becomes more reliable. I'm using an lg g watch r (wear os 1) with a samsung s5 (latest android 6).
I just purchased your pro app. I do notice that its very inconsistent in taking successful readings.
My biggest gripe though it's trying to take readings when I am not wearing it. I see you mentioned that you will integrate it with Tasker. Can you allow to disable reading when not wearing.
Also I am not really interested in steps data. Can you allow a way to hide steps in graph.
Thanks.
The readings are very consistent here. Huawei watch 1 with AW 2.0 and a Nexus 6 with Nougat 7.1.1. The only times missed are when I have the watch off which is only to charge and shower. I track sleep at night as well.
You should get a log from HROS to help diagnose why yours is not working. Also info about your watch and phone plus android versions on both. Troubleshooting needs information.
You can turn off steps in settings, see below, last choice in settings.

Hi jimmod - I know you're working on this and am hoping it won't be a major hassle for you. I know I'd be interested in status updates as the progress continues (and you have time) just to know where things stand and get an insight into what you're up against.
Best of luck and by the by, love this app.

I paid for the app and now after formatting my phone I'm unable to re download it because it's not on the google play store. Any idea when it will be back?![]()
Hey.
Yeah I have the same problem with the Fit sync. I have no history.
Is there a way to see my heartrate in the browser too? I did not find the tab on the google fit page
People the author of the app wrote that his play store account has been suspended by Google. The author also mentioned that by the suspension of his account, the app does not have the permission to use the Google Fit API.
So this means that the app cannot be used anymore to sync heart rate data with Google Fit.
