Just wanted to let you know, I am using you modified launcher2 right now. I was looking for a 7 screen launcher, can't wait to see where you go with the development of this.

hi i just switched from the auto rotating launcher2 and i can say i love the screen changes and stuff but im missing the auto rotate i would love to see it on this.

arctu: For storing preferences in Android, you can simply use a preferences.xml. Check out my Contacts mods on GitHub for the preferences. Basically there is a Java class that will point to the xml

regarding github, i understand that it has the ability to rebase unlike svn. how do i make sure that i don't break this functionality?
currently, the source is a git clone of CM launcher2 git and I edited the files without creating a new branch. so now, how do I upload it to my own github yet retaining the rebase capability (just in case cyan source changes)?

looks great, i'm currently testing Sense UI... will test this weekend. oh yeah, do you mind sharing your fonts (or font names)? thanks!
is it possible to make it so you can loop allthe way around the homescreens- eg. when on first home screen you swipe to the left to go to 2nd screen and to the right for the 7th screen. this would make this perfect, along with a configurable amount of home screens like advanced launcher on G1/magic (which i think was open source if that helps).

Auto rotate working! Fixed the menu glitch, finally after more than 3 hours.
Minor bug: See the first screen.. anyone have any idea how to align the dots properly? I wonder how enomether did it.
Besides that, Home button is also a Preview toggle like Wysie requested. Long-press on desktop reenabled.
Will release it soon after polished... along with the source.

I like the font, is that part of the launcher? Can it be installed alone, if so, an update.zip or similar would be great I'm sure alot of people would be interested. Also if you were able to provide the font alone, would it be ok while another custom launcher is active?

1. Maybe future versions. But not my focus right now.

3. Not going to implement this. I've changed the long press of prev and next button for quick jump to ends.
Besides these, I can't find Advanced Launcher source. Don't think it's opensourced.

when i download the file ill get an 10,1 MB big Launcher2.apk and not an 546 KB file
hmm.. don't see much differences besides the 7 screens.
i'm also a Hero owner, is it possible to make the N1 launcher to act as smoothly as the Sense when swiping through screens? comparing with the Hero it feels kinda stuttering (i know it's not tho)
