The base Mms.apk file that I have uploaded/patched may be outdated by those in the ROMs you are using. You can try applying the patch on your own, a guide is posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21956763&postcount=25Also, it did not work with the last build of open kang number 23

Stock Keyboard does not have this feature built in. It is because you are using a different keyboard that you get around the limitation.correct me if I'm wrong, but i am using the stock CM7 Mms.apk - and i can enter (new line) on my SMS, or maybe because i am using Smart Keyboard and not the stock keyboard?
Not sure, but I did use this with Kangy when it was on a lower version and had no problems. Have since moved to Codename Android and Nexus MV. Am using this with both those ROMS and have no problem.Also, it did not work with the last build of open kang number 23

Enter button works now. I just had to reboot 2 times before it started to work.Am using Codename Android 1.4.0 and have had no problems.
Before I flash the ROM, I delete the mms.apk file from the \system\app folder and replace it with the file from this topic.
Don't really do attachments or MMS, but hey, thanks for your effort ... been using the old one with no problems since you made one for ICSUpdated first post.

- Updated based Mms.apk file.
- Fixed FC when attaching images/multimedia files.
