i dont know how you guys call in US,
but here in Brasil we called "Decoder"
that box that controls the cable tv...like "SKY" for example...
in US i think its TiVO right ?
so...
in this app theres this option ? because i couldnt find it....

An all in one solution

That would be awesome. I use Yatze at the moment. I also have a IR remote for my media server, so it would be nice if this app could pick up the receiver and allow me to use that to control the XBMC mediaserver instead.

Try the STB option, it stands for Set Top Box which is what we refer to as the unit to control Sky, Cable etc

An all in one solution

There are too many brands in the world, a bit hard for an app to support them all, but we aimed to support all by building a users' IR code datebase. This app support IR customize, user may create its own remote. but since S4 does not have IR receiver, an external IR sender/receiver made by us may help to customize your own remote control.

Will this work on super old aircon? I have a 10-y.o. aircon.

Maybe, limited by samsung IR hardware, 20khz-60khz is the avaliable frequency range.

Worked like a charm with air conditioner, only trick is to quickly release the hold once you feel the phone vibrate or you will end up passing the code. Learnt that after couple tries.

there is forward searching and backward searching, forward searching is very quick, but backward searching is slow for select the correct one.

sure you can rename it. go to tab "CLOUD" , choose "DIY Remote" --> "Edit" ---> Choose your remote---> long press on signal ---> Change Key ----> Custom

Price is around US$10-15, i already push them to load items on ebay, but it seems a bit slow of their work.

There are several problems I encountered
- If the app is killed in task manager, it still runs in notification. You need to click back in the app to actually kill it completely
- The cloud download is quite slow for aircond searches. It shows the download animation but the counter remains 0

But really a good job and effort. Thanks!! Does the author need donations?

Is there any reason why this APP wouldn't work on other carrier's devices, such as the Verizon GS4? From the outside I would assume it would work just fine seeing as it does not mod the system/framework, etc ... but I figured I would ask before giving it a go ... been looking for an alternative for WatchOn!
