superb superb app detected my 5 year old videocon lcs and also a 20 year old crown tv not perfect for the crown tv but yrah i just need to use it to power it on n off....doesnt work with the tata sky stb though....

There is no more S4 on the Device Setting option. Now its barely working. Can i do something to make it works again with my S4?

Instruction:
1. download this zip file, and extract apk and install on phone.
2. open app - MORE - DEVICE SETTING - choose your device HTC ONE or S4
3. return to REMOTE - Add Remote Control
4. select Elctric Type and Brand, if not inside select all
5. Long Press to Match - Auto Match require Internet connection (could be better if register to enable download DIY)
6. Press till your electric show/sound anything
7. change Forward to backward if you passing the correct code
8. press on Further Test Signal - Test all - correct go to step 9, not all correct go back step 6
9. choose a profile to save
10. If TV, you will see all buttons are blank. long press on button to modify.
11. select Macro, first colum is your brand, maybe show in chinese, ignore it, go second colum, this is the function for the button.
12. choose one and name it - save.


And Here for 3.5mm Audio Interface IR device.

any1 with vdr?

Since many years i use a linux video disc recorder

I use a homebrew receiver and a logitech harmony as sender. In the harmony i use the profile vdr_16.
The software of my vdr fits perfect to it. But my logitech is old and i would like to use my samsung as backup.
therefore i am looking for an infrared remote app which has that vdr-profile. in contrast to htc samsung only uses emitters, so i cant teach the codes to my phone via the harmony.
Any suggestions? Maybe someone who is using a vdr with a remote app (ir, not wlan)?
lookin into this app i didnt find a matching profile, but perhaps another one did?

tv and usual stuffs i could easily control using other irblaster apps but set top box was another thing, i try could'n get the specific one.
luckily for this there is not a remote by the brand name but found an alternative remote using the multiple suggestion i got and by trying out the keys and selecting the most appropriate remote. :victory::victory::victory:
will be suggesting the app to many of my friends.
