you might have sideloaded the apk. as said earlier, the flashing zip works way better (although that would require u to backup beforehand)

On my LG GT540 on latest AOKP ICS when I want to go to the equalizer it shows "application is closed" anyone know why and what I do with this? pls help

I just installed DSP manager (did this via install as a normal app from SD card) on my stock 4.0.3 ROM on my rooted Samsung Galaxy S2. The app is working, BUT:

on the Samsung:

1.) If I try to turn up the bass, the setting only becomes noticeable, if I turn up the bass to the max, and set bass amp tu "full" and "strong". Why is this happening?

2.) Additionally, if bass is set to max, the overall volume becomes extremly quiet, except bass. This can't even be avoided by using a volume booster, because...

3.) ...Using a volume booster or a secondary equalizer app while DSP Manager is active causes DSP Manager to crash, and any volume setting set in DSP Manager re-sets to the defaults. Restarting DSP Manager restores the volume settings I want, but de-activates any other equalizer that is running along with DSP Manager.

On my other phone, a Motorola Milestone 2 (Cyanogen Mod 9 - 4.0.4):

4.) On this device, (where DSP Manager is present by default in this particular ROM) the app is not working at all. When I start it, the app shows up, but that's all it does. Any setting I tried didn't take effect on the audio output.

What can be done to get DSP Manager to work as expected?
