Gmail v4.8 APK Available for Download

The official Gmail application has been updated to a new 4.8 version today.
Tons of things have been changed and improved so that we will get the best mail experience for your Android device.
It brings changes to the overall UI and some new functions and features. Also, the APK file is available for download for users who didn’t get the official update until now.
Gmail version 4.8 now features support for Save to Google Drive, explanations for why specific mails are redirected to spam automatically, tweaked right-to-left reading for Arabic, Hebrew and Persian languages, easier access to the side navigation section. Pull-to-refresh is now animated using cycles of red, blue, yellow and green colors instead of using the blue animation. Also, the length you need to swipe pull-to-refresh has been reduced.

With the new Gmail update you will find the Settings, Help and the Feedback buttons in the sliding navigation drawer instead of the overflow menu. There are tons of great small tweaks added to both menus, so that you will get a better user interface that offers easier access to any Gmail section such as Mail folders, Labels, Settings, etc.
Another great new feature that we will benefit from is support for showing the rest of all truncated messages. Up until now every single long email that had to be truncated couldn’t be displayed on the application and you were forced to open the email message using a web browser. All long emails will have the ‘view entire message’ text listed at the bottom, simply click on it and the Gmail 4.8 app will display the entire text.
