@abhi08638 I'm having problem, whereby the camera preview will freeze after coming back from sleep.

I'm using smart cover, so when I open the camera app, and close the cover, then if I want to use it back, the camera freezes.

FYI, I'm running on Temasek v10.5 (5.1.1) with you latest v5 mod.

Known bug, go into settings and toggle any option and it will unfreeze. I think this is a byproduct of not running on COS12

No issues with the new update. No FCs with HDR and Auto(HJR). Just took 5 photos repeatedly. All sweet and good.

Color OS sends local variables in the code so its fixable. Everything in CameraNext is completely unreadable and this is the way CM wants it. So its up to them to solve any bugs in the app

Just one question: when in options/ camera , on the bottom there is an option TOOLS where with no options to select. Is it just me, or is it some bug?

Tools are not implemented yet, but the section is already created.

What ROM are you on? Its working for me unofficial beanstalk 5.0.2
Try clearing data or using the volume buttons to take a picture.

Whoop...Whooop...Something from my side...

While trying to fix preview bug on ColorOS camera, i accidentally started playing with CameraNext (read full story on my blog: anoobdevsdiary.blogspot.in).

So here is CameraNext with 50MP shot function.
To enable 50MP enable 50MP option under settings and use Clear Image mode to capture 50MP shots (actually both functions are same , checkout my blog for more detailed explanation)

Provided APK is not modified CameraNextMod apk but it is stock modified APK which can be installed alongside official CameraNext APK.

DOWNLOAD

This has nothing to do with @abhi08638's CameraNext mod. I shared it here to prevent duplicate thread. I hope he'll merge my changes into CameraNextMod. One Request though, if you merge changes, please put them under BOOTMGR's additions section because i have some other ideas to implement (like locking AE/AF, faster burst mode etc)

Edit: Oh man I just read you post! I saw super zoom but never figured out what it was for lol. You deserve a medal for making sense out of this BS code we have access too. I might even have eto make an exception and release another update!

I just tested this 50mp thing out with clear image. This is fantastic! This has to be implemented into the modded camera next so there's no need for 2 different apps.

Implantation is pretty easy because I haven't changed anything in smali yet so I can just copy the folder. Editing the XML is easy as cake as well

I'm using default newest OTA rooted CM12 rom. Zoom works with voice buttons but no pic can't take with power button
I tryed this 50MP camera edition two post up, there is power button taking pic normally..

you should have a free app in XDA and and improved paid version app in play store for the time you spend
