It works, here's a little video.
100% Working on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910P)
Now there's no videos on YouTube showing this Hack. So seeing that someone did a video for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Camera Hack, I'd figure I'd do one for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
So here it is.., sorry about the noise, it's my fan on in the background, because others were sleeping at the time this video was shot, but the quality of the video is excellent, if I don't say so myself.

Thanks for making the video, but I'm on the latest Beanstalk ROM on US Cellular, and I don't have the SamsungCamera3.apk in my System/App folder to begin with. So something here tells me that there are other bits and pieces to the SamsungCamera3.apk that are missing due to me being on this ROM. Something that was included in the stock ROM, but are now missing now.
EDIT: For example, I'm pretty sure I"ll need at least the SamsungCameraFilter.apk as seen at 0:54 in your video, among some other files as well that relate to the stock Samsung Camera. Maybe I could just drop those files in the System/App folder and it'll work? Who knows. I'd have to get a hold of those files first

Sounds tempting but the reviews are poor so ill wait. Using a Canadian model btw.
Um excuse my language but wtf do u mean? I have had oer 12000 downloads from version 1 to version 9.3 and the negative reviews are 1/100. I just rooted NI2 and copied the apk and xml over. Took less than 5 minutes from root to camera installed. No problems
The most negative review was a guy who said i copied others peoples work. That got shot down real quick by a mod. It doesnt hurt anything to try

Hello looks like great camera work. This may dumb question but do you think this will work on the note 3 if I followed your insructions using your B/B files. I'm not sure what camera my phone has but if I were to pull this off, do you think I would then have the new image stablization?
Ok here we go, after figuring out where everything is located I am now proud to announce this mod for the note 4 (not sure if it will work on all of them but defiantly sprint). I will update the log as I go

Turned JPEG quality up to 100% from 96% (Verified)
Changed DUAL FHD max record time from 5 minutes to 10 minutes
Changed DUAL HD max record time from 10 minutes to 30 minutes
Changed UHD max record time from 5 minutes to 30 minutes
Changed SMOOTH MOTION max record time from 10 minutes to 30 minutes
Changed SMOOTH MOTION from 28mbit to 40mbit
Changed UHD from 24mbit to 65mbit
Changed FHD from 20mbit to 40mbit
Themed the camera with transparency set at 30% to make buttons less obvious (v4t).
Themed the camera with a greenish tint and all new icons (v4g - thanks to Kevinoliva113)
Set UHD/WQHD to max record limit of 20 minutes
Added the smooth motion default mod from louforgiveno
Added the mod from Jovy32:
Disabled Camera/Camcorder "Low Battery", "Can't Use Flash", And "Unable To Start While In A Call" Alerts So Now You Can Use Flash/Camera/Camcorder Even When Your Phone's Battery Is Running Low Or During A Phone Call.
Removed 05:00 time from UHD and WQHD recording, will only show up when almost out of space

INSTRUCTIONS (There are 2 different routes):
See bottom of OP for description of T and G
(example SamsungCamera3v4t.apk
1. Download ES File Explorer
2. Go to /system/app and delete SamsungCamera3.apk and SamsungCamera3.odex
3. Copy the SamsungCamera3.apk file over to /system/app
4. Set permissions to rw-r-r
5. (Version 3 or higher) Copy the media_profiles.xml file to /system/etc/
6. Set permissions to rw-r-r
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy
Note: If the icon doesn't look like this on reboot there is something wrong

Just download the Flashable Zip and flash through recovery and reboot

Just tried it and it didn't work. Are there any other apk files in system/app that might be related to the camera? I feel like there's going to be a lot of them, in which case this won't be worth the headache
Hey I didn't mean to offend but some people had issues getting it to work. I am on the Canadian version so would you recommend me flashing the zip. I already downloaded it but don't want to try and then have camera failure. And i'm not sure how the different bit sizes would help..not sure that was even explained. I mostly make short videos but I love the idea of a better quality vid or pics. Is this noticeable etc ?
