Have now the Camera apk taken from a 5.0.1 Rom, it works now. but would like to use the modded Version, hoping to get a Lollipop Version soon!

i tried camera v9 for exynos N910-C but its not working. says Camera has stopped. . restore back default camera. . Hoping to have an update for this for lollipop version. . anybody tried slowmotion feature in lollipop default camera? 1/8 slowmotion is great but its recording so crap. . blurry ouput . hoping you can still mod this in high quality output just like 4.4.4 camera. .

OK so I installed this using my es file explorer and everything works as you said but the only problem is that my Smooth motion video can't record says error every timeI try is there something I might be doing wrong? Or how do I solve that? I tried going to my nandroid backup and doing process again and I have tried the t and original version and same thing both thanksOk here we go, after figuring out where everything is located I am now proud to announce this mod for the note 4 (not sure if it will work on all of them but defiantly sprint). INSTRUCTIONS (There are 2 different routes):
See bottom of OP for description of T and G
(example SamsungCamera3v4t.apk
1. Download ES File Explorer
2. Go to /system/app and delete SamsungCamera3.apk and SamsungCamera3.odex
3. Copy the SamsungCamera3.apk file over to /system/app
4. Set permissions to rw-r-r
5. (Version 3 or higher) Copy the media_profiles.xml file to /system/etc/
6. Set permissions to rw-r-r
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy
Note: If the icon doesn't look like this on reboot there is something wrong

None of the options on screen work
Hi, I flashed the zip file SamsungCamera3v9.3g, I can't use any of the options on the screen, the settings or mode or HDR on/off ... the camera focuses but I have to use the vol down button to be able to take photos. None of the options on the cam work.

I am having the same problem as the guy above, except that nothing appears when I press the settings button, meaning that I can't access the extra options. I have rolled back down to v9.2 and it works perfectly, but v9.3 doesn't work very well
it wouldn't run on Kitkat with Art too.
Since Lollipop replaced Dalvik with Art runtime, it is not going to run until Kevinrocksman fix that.
Hope he's not gonna leave us with only Dalvik version
I'm not seeing the length increase. I tried to make several videos the other day and they all stop at 14 minutes and 13 seconds at exactly 4GB in size. My SD card is formatted as exfat. As I understand it 4GB is a 32 bit maximum, so how are people getting the increased record time along with higher bitrates on this app?
well today I tried for abou 9 hours and 94 different directions but I still couldn't make it go past 4GB.
What I was thinking was something along the lines of the if statements, IF SIZE OF FILE >= 4GB stop recording, I was hoping I'd find something like that and possibly just get rid of it hence making it continue on recording. Let's just say i failed... i managed to get it to stop recording as soon as i pushed record but that is quite the opposite direction but it did tell me i was in the right area.
Since the code is written in 32 bit there is no way around telling the program u want over 4GB but there might be a way to make it think there is no max file size instead of telling it what the max filesize can or is.
IDK, I'm losing hope on this, until this is written in 64 bit I just don't think extending the recording size will happen unless someone knows what im talking about above and figures out how to implement it.

Either should work. If it gives u any issues just copy over the apk manually and not the xml.
Just curious on your thought process here. At the bitrate you have modified it to record at 1080P video can't record over 14 minutes because of the 4GB max file size, but yet the OP says record times have been increased. I am a little confused on the contradiction. I am trying to setup a dash cam on my jeep to record off roading, is there a way to increase stock record times?
First of all thanks for all the work, I know it can be frustrating. I was hoping for better frame rate as the 120 fps is catastrophic in its quality. Perhaps the best hope is when the S6 comes out and we can use the apk from there?

2nd do you have a Stock replacement?
3rd flash the stock and try you fone.
If you get the same issue, it could be the version of firmware or maybe the flash method or back.
if you are using PHILZ do a full wipe for new ROM - it wouldn't hurt to do a full wipe of after PHILZ Custom Wipe
