Both Facebook modded v344.0.0.5.116.apk and Facebook_2_Mod_Arm64_v307.apk found on this thread are still showing sponsored ads.
Facebook LCR v2.0.apk is completely ad free and seems to work great except for one bug - can't use the search, app crashes seconds after pressing to search.
Pixel 6a Android 13 September update, rooted.

Same here it crashes everytime i use search bar.

Jedyne, co udało mi się zrobić, to dodać do niego ciemny motyw, regularna wersja ma już tę funkcję.

Musiałem też na razie wstrzymać ten projekt, ponieważ jak wielu wspomnianych Messenger Lite Dark ma zbyt wiele błędów w nowych wersjach Androida, a ja obecnie nie mam dobrego sposobu na naprawienie tego.

When creating a black theme, you wrote in json and then modified applications in apk-signer?

All I was able to do was to add dark theme to it, the regular version already has that feature.

I've also had to put this project on hold for now, because as many mentioned Messenger Lite Dark got way too buggy on new versions of Android and I don't currently have a good way of fixing it.

it worked yesterday Messenger Lite Dark mod 315, but today, when I turned on the phone again, I can not turn on Messenger anymore, it crashes every now and then, you have the same ?

LCR v2 works ok except for suggested posts , outdated app ( no Dating for example ) and no sync-ing with Messenger .
On Windows you can try the browser extension called F.B. Purity

Hi and thanks again,

the LCRv.2 is showing ads since last FB update to a new design.
New design which badly degrade the ''user's experience'' of any ''alternative client'' as Friendly or Frost...
So I'll continue to use this mod until a future update, because it's obviously much much better than using the FB crap.

Tested with 4 devices, different brands (Samsung, Huawei, Realme, Xiaomi) and Android versions (6.0, 7.1, 8.0, 12), all no root.

After update to Android 12 on my Oneplus 7T pro the app keeps repeatadly crashing. It worked initially but then after a while just kept on force closing. Clearing cache didn't help. In the end I had to uninstall it. Anyone else having same problem? Now I'm stuck with app with ads dl from Playstore .
