Even normal YouTube doesnt work anymore, only version 13 and above

Ya after closing the app it eventually won't open no more and to fix it I always have to clear the data of the OGYouTube app which keeps me signed in, then I have to go through and adjust some settings all over again which is getting repetitive now, but to keep OGYouTube from constantly breaking I just lock it so when I close all apps it'll stay open. So far it hasn't broken in awhile, but ya closing it causes it to not open anymore and then I'd have to go through the process all over again, hope you guys get yours working again because I dunno any other modded YouTube app as good as this, especially since I'm using the transparent version because it looks cool seeing my live background under all the UI.

Our only hope is to wait until someone take the mod and solve this crashing problem, the problem occurs because YouTube forces the update from any YouTube version lower than 13.0, and the mod ignores the forced update, but at the same time it breaks it self, i bet there is a way to get around this problem, because the layout is very good, the functions are great, connection to YouTube servers still works, It will give you a error only If you access your account options like history or watch later list, but besides that, all videos still loads, and the other alternative (Vanced) is not as good as OgYouTube, I also had problems with the vanced, and never had any with OgYouTube until now.

It stopped working on my android 4.4.2 tablet.

The weird thing is that the exact same version still works on my android 9 phone. I don't know why but at least I can still use it there.

Can you upload your og youtube apk and MicroG apk? Also Tell us your Chrome version, webview version qnd Google Play Services version If you can, weird that newer versions of Android would work but old ones dont lol

Look for disabled system apps, when chrome is enabled, webview is automatically disabled.

Thanks for the files, the version above stopped the crashes, But it still displays error 400 when accessing something from the account logged in, maybe it's YouTube's own problem because the version is too old...

Maybe I should have mentioned that I never log in. I don't use this feature.

Downloading also doesnt work.

But watching works and watching in background works, all without ads. These are the main reasons for me to use this app.

what's the difference? the old microg works fine even with the ogyoutube you uploaded.

Recently it began not to work properly on my device too. The app simply doesn't open. Force closing and relaunching the app doesn't work either.

What's interesting is the app opens again when I restore app+data by TitaniumBackup. You all know that the app has not been updated forever, so the version itself is the same.

I don't know exactly what is the cause for not opening and why this workaround works, but I protected the app in TB just in case.
