Is there any possible way or workaround to install YouTube Vanced as stock app???

Just disable YouTube and set vanced to be the default client for YouTube links?
Its been a while, but from memory, you can use a magisk module to de-bloat stock newer youtube, which then should let you install the older vanced root version.Yeah! That's the last solution I'm more interested to replace stock YouTube app
Application Info / Manage>State>Hibernate-Freeze-Hide>com.google.android.youtube
Magisk>Modules>TeMeFI Hide System Apps>Add or Remove>Add one>[*YouTube*]
Thankyou so much... It worked like charm.... <3Its been a while, but from memory, you can use a magisk module to de-bloat stock newer youtube, which then should let you install the older vanced root version.
The first option would be try to Disable & Hide YouTube. One option is to use TeMeFI atApplication Info / Manage>State>Hibernate-Freeze-Hide>com.google.android.youtube
Another option is to use TeMeFI, underMagisk>Modules>TeMeFI Hide System Apps>Add or Remove>Add one>[*YouTube*]
It's probably not uninstalled fully. Eg;: adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 .…After my Oneplus Oxygen 12 Update...... YouTube is on the latest update. I tried uninstalling it and then downloading an older version of youtube that can be patched with Vanced, but it wont let me install it. Any idea why I cannot install an older version of YouTube after uninstalling it?
That's what I thought.... that there are remnants of the app. I will check on how to debloat the YouTube app. I don't like the non-root version, because some of the links will not open on the YouTube Vanced app and also you get the annoying popup on Google Messages that you need to install the YouTube app constantly if there is a YouTube link. It's probably not uninstalled fully. Eg;: adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 .…
does not really uninstall the package, it is just 'uninstalled' for user 0
but at the moment you try to install the same app (package name), it finds the old one and complains about downgrading
There are some ways to 'debloat' preinstalled YT (to become fully invisible), but needs deeper know-how, it's generally out-of-topic here, and may not work on all (new) ROMs
With Vanced non-root YT you will have no problem with versions (it can be installed in parallel to the official YT). However, you may have issues with MicroG (I don't use, see what others post)

This music player also plays youtube videos. Doesn't work in aa but works fine through screen2auto.
Este reproductor de música también reproduce videos de youtube. No funciona en aa pero funciona bien a través de screen2auto.

Unlikely to be done here as development has ended.Hi, i badly need to remove the shorts button at the bottom shelf of youtube vanced.
It is so addictive. Please find a way
is this all the same for YouTube music? I haven't had any issues lately with YouTube itself but since getting a car I have become dependent on YouTube music.I asked here and no one gave me a workable solution. I was trying to install the root version of Vanced, but I couldn't downgrade YouTube to do it.
I figured out there is a LSPosed module called XDowngrader and I was able to install an older version over the current YouTube. Then I followed a YouTube tutorial to install the rooted version. If you updated your phone and lost the rooted version of YouTube Vanced... Do the LSPosed module and the YouTube tutorial. I also installed another module called update locker to keep the play store from updating it.
