For some videos I get server error. I tried changing codec and switched video player but nothing helps. Does anyone has the same issue?
Not sure if this can help..Updated to the latest version on my Pocophone F1 and for some reason when the video is minimized I'm not getting controls and have to reopen the app from recent apps or app drawer. I'm using the non-root version btw.
Nope. Stock will remain... Somehow. Is installing youtube vanced via magisk will uninstall the original youtube app in my phone?
My phone is mi a2 lite with android one Pie
Not me... Unless I have a bad connection. For some videos I get server error. I tried changing codec and switched video player but nothing helps. Does anyone has the same issue?
Magisk related issue. Should refer to Magisk discussion thread. But I use non root Vanced despite using Magisk. Flawless.I installed it by magisk v18.0.
It installed successfully but the app isn't available in app drawer.
No problem. XDA tells you the "Beta" version is the black version.I updated via xda labs app must be the problem.
I downloaded from the website now and it works
If you're on non root Vanced, just disable stock YouTube app (after uninstalling updates). No real need to go Magisk if you're already on SuperSU working fine. In fact, I see no reason to go root or Magisk versions IF non root version works fine on your device. I've tried them all.my phone is Rooted SU,
Galaxy A5 2016 android 7.0.1
but at home page youtube stills that ad coming.
other are fine and awesome.. :good::good:
I perfer the original YouTube icon.Is that what you made or is this the new icon look.Im using version 13.46.51 non root.Or make an overlay to change the icon
Sent from my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 using XDA Labs
Using nonroot Vanced v.13.50.52 & notifications are broken... Cannot receive any kind of notifications it was fine on previous build...
Still dont get it how to detach it via magisk. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.Excuse me, but I don't understand!
The instructions are very unclear.
So, with Magisk it's very easy, just download, install, reboot.
But how to deal with detach option(s) ?
Do I get it right, that if I want a detached Vanced YouTube, I need:
1. Download three files:
2. Place all three files in sdcard/download folder
2. Open Magisk, add module and flash the ytva-universal-installer-v4.1.zip through Magisk manager
And what's the difference between ytva_only_detach_from_playstore.plz and just ytva_detach_from_playstore.plz ?
Did you tap the module in magisk manager download section and read?Still dont get it how to detach it via magisk. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
I don't know the solution, since I don't cast, but I know it has been discussed here OFTEN that casting does not work, at least in later versions.Cast on TV is not working. I have searched for troubleshooting the issue but could not find any.. everytime says:
Youtube vanced won't run unless you update Google Play Services.
Galaxy A50, A7
Everything is up to date including Google Play Services.
Please let me know the solution
If you uninstall them and use Vanced Manager to install, it should give you a choice of available versions. I don't have any particular issues with the latest version, but recommendations have been made in this thread regarding prior versions that don't have specific issues. Can I use the oldest version of vanced and microg? I'm using an outdated android box and it can't run the latest version of vanced without crashing, freezing, I was using an older version and it was working OK, since I upgraded everything got messed up.
How far could I downgrade? any suggestions?
Can confirm, it's definitely more laggy and has stronger appetite now
Please be aware that there are root and non-root YT version (you should have seen that when installing), with different architecture.Hey vanced has been consuming more power then normal YouTube app has anyone noticed that
The issue is resolved now. I have found the setting to stop this inplace video play.(Resolved) - [New behavior observed - Automatic inplace video play]
I am running non-root Vanced app v16.20.35 on Android 11 on my smartphone.
Since yesterday I have noticed a new behavior in the app and that is it automatically starts playing the video inplace. Once the video is finished the screen is automatically refreshed and the top most video on the screen starts playing inplace. Kindly see the attached image and the circled part. That equalizer type graphics was not there earlier. Also the video time now goes to zero.
Does anyone know is this something youtube introduced recently. Do note that the feature may be experimental and may not be available everywhere. I do not have YouTube app on my smartphone (disabled) to test it on my own.
When you open the app for the first time, everything is fine. As soon as you touch the screen for scrolling or anything else then usually the middle video (sometimes it is topmost video, I guess it depends on the focus) automatically starts playing inplace. I could not find any new setting to control it.
The current way to stop it when the video starts playing inplace, then click it. It opens up like it used to do. Then stop it and minimize it if you want to browse/scroll the videos above or below this video on the page you are coming from. Or scroll down the see the videos available on the current page. Now the videos will not play inplace.
Please do let me know if you need more information.
First of all, have you tried installing the official but without disabling MIUI optimizations?Okay, what about apkpure ?
