tried rooted apks and method with the mannager, does not seems to work.
please provide a proper download link for all the resources!
the manager got stuck download few APKs,
but when I've tried to installed them, there were signature errors,
I've moved them to my PC, removed the old RSA signature, repacked, signed and aligned (in jarsigner use first sign then align, apksigner uses first align then sign),
and copied them back, now the manager passed the signature verifications,
but the APKs does not seems to be having "base", I assume it is either one of the bigger ones, but I was done wasting my time: headed over to APKMIRROR and got the latest blonde from Vanced Team, got a mod version of the APKMIRROR-INSTALLER from APKMB and installed it.
APKMIRROR have not include the root version, which is a shame. I'm on a custom firmware of LineAge OS, natively rooted and very slim in terms of pre-installed packaged. built-in apps (including youtube) are not a problem.
I'm even tried modified the package name from com.vanced.android.youtube to com.google.android.youtube (android manifest and few SMALI files), but something is OFF, and it didn't brought in standard functionality (still requires microG).
anyway, I'm not sure there are actuall limitation enforced from the Google Play services regarding YouTube official signature, so it will get authenticated naively, but maybe there are...
I've used lucky patcher, toolbox menu, checked ON first one: "signature verification status always true" and second one "disable .apk signature verification", and applied. it was rebooted the device, and after it went up it shows (in the toolbox menu) that the patch were applied successfully.

Please the structure of
https://vancedapp.com/ so it will have proper, clear and understandable instructions in one page, without that nasty jumps, or javascript pagination of the table, or hooking clicks on table "TR/TD" elements instead of a click - WHO DOES THIS???
I feel the whole thing can be documented better,
less confusing mess - means more users without extensive knowledge in reverse-engineering to check-box weird cases to figure out why the app does not work.
and get rid of the "installer" it is a very iffy idea. people do not trust those, and it automatically gets blocked in various security apps as malicious.

as of now, no success installing anything but the non-root version from apkmirror with apkmirror installer. I'm not intend of using microG.
